Very expensive for less standard.
The room as well as the staff and the overall service was excellent. The place was 7 minutes away from Piazza Navona (we had a motorcycle). The breakfast was rich as well. Free wifi (we had 4 devices connected).
We could not enjoy the magnificent garden due to the large number of mosquitoes in the garden at that time (mid August).
Beautiful location, extremely helpful staff and overall feeling of being home in the villa made our stay in Roma very special.
nice for service and nice breakfast
location is a little bit not good ,if you back at night
The owner was very helpful and booked our tickets for us. He took time to talk to us and made stay personal. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful using home grown produce. The situation was good enabling us to walk to Vatican, Colluseum etc.. Room very clean.
R The location was very close to the city yet very private and quite beautiful.
Everything was wonderful.
can be highly recommended for any traveller visiting Roma, very nice location with a beautiful garden, outstanding service and support by owner, would go back any time.
Handy location for the Vatican and the restaurants in Trastevere. The owners were good hosts and extremely helpful with info and arranging taxis. A quiet location away from the bustle and noise of the City.
A steep uphill walk to return in the evenings and a lack of public transport between the location and the city centre may be difficult for some. Unless you like a lot of walking you are reliant on taxis - not cheap option in Rome.
very nicely appointed room, helpful staff, quiet location but not too far from attractions, beautiful garden to relax and enjoy.
Really enjoyed location , personal service, and general comfort.
If I had to pick fault I would recommend the breakfast area to be larger to accommodate more visitors .
Beautifully restored property, lovely private setting, friendly and hospitable service, delicious dinner in room, walking distance to sights.
The narrow one way street was a bit dangerous when walking; just need to be aware, otherwise catch a taxi.
Very friendly personnel, nice support and advice with planning sightseeing visits. Delicious breakfast buffet with lots of variety. Good location and in a very nice setting. Walking distance to Vatican and Trastevere! To get there on foot you have to pass about 100-200m of street without walkway, but it is well lit at night, and was no problem once we got used to it.
Coming home after a hard day of sightseeing was best, the garden splendid with wysteria and climbing roses in full bloom, the civility of staff and the other guests (we were lucky) gave a welcome feeling, and the hosts always were at ease and gave of their time.
The via delle fornaci is enclosed by big walls on both sides, and there are lots of cars and traffic going both ways. We took walking it for a challenge and enjoyed the less busy quarters that you reach after a few minutes of adrenalin-rush.
The breakfast was great. Hearty meats, cheese, homemade egg quiches, cappuccinos. Sante is wonderful. Very friendly, great English and knows his way around the city. Ask him for restaurant recommendations. He knows where the locals go and it's very good!
The location is beautiful but a little off the beaten path. Walking to the villa along the alley way was a little scarey with all the speeding cars.
Amazing place in the middle of the garden, only a few hundred meters from Vatican. In case you would like to be in the "Tternal City" and in the nature same time, this is the right choice!
quite place - no problem keeping the window open over night, safe area as well, very friendly owner
Everything. I had a very pleasant stay. Will definitely stay at the hotel again.
We loved everything and will book here again
A comfortable haven in the heart of a big city. Ideally located to explore Rome.
Beautiful garden, friendly staff, great rooms
Very nice and helpful personel. The breakfast was really good, rooms clean, free wifi, you have cable TV but also Apple TV, the minibar has normal prices not like in hotels, etc. Very well positioned, 20 min walking to Vatican and to Traverstere. A place to return.
Great place to stay in Rome with a busy toddler who likes to run around! Rooms are lovely, gardens beautiful, staff super friendly. We organised car rental through them and got a much better price than online, including with a baby seat. Also they organised airport pickups with a baby seat too! Fantastic place.
There's no real pavement on the road to the hotel, which makes getting to it with a buggy a bit hairy, as the traffic flies! Also the pedestrian access is stairs, so there's a good bit of carrying to do if you have a baby. Still we managed and it's well worth it.
Convenient to the to most sites in and around Rome, however be prepared to walk as the site is near the top of a hill. Room very clean with plenty of closet space, large bath with top quality linens and towels. Breakfast with a good assortment of sweets, rolls and cereals etc. In warmer weather enjoy sitting outside. A very good value!!!
I discussed my thoughts with the owner regarding a small matter the he said would be corrected.
Wonderful villa with beautiful peaceful gardens and terrific, helpful staff. Great breakfast and easy access to Rome attractions
Staff extremely friendly. Wonderful breakfast. Nice rooms. The property as such is very nice, with a spacious and attactive garden.
The access to the hotel is by a street which is not fit for pedestrians: it is a perilous walk along this heavily trafficked road with no pavements and steep walls on each side.
