Score from 4467 reviews Good
Holiday Inn Express Milan-Malpensa Airport is a striking solar-powered building, with spacious rooms. It serves a hot and cold buffet breakfast. There is a shuttle service to/from the airport.

Just over half a mile from Milan Malpensa Airport, Somma Lombardo's First Hotel provides an airport shuttle upon request.
Score from 1330 reviews Very good
More economical alternative to the Shearaton at Malpensa. Van service to the airport takes only a few minutes. Very good restaurant for dinner. Solid WiFi.
Breakfast selection was a bit skimpy on the day I was there.
great shuttle service delicious dinner
position. Close to Airport
The entire structure is old.
Our travel plans changed due to weather and the hotel wouldn't refund our money! I am very upset
Location/proximity to airport, architecture, view, charm, attention to detail and responsiveness great.
Man at evening front desk was like an ogre. When we turned on the main room lights, within minutes at least half a dozen lady bugs appeared. I woke up around 3:00am one night with one crawling down my back. Didn't complain for fear we'd end up dealing with smell of bug spray. Elevator doors squeeked loudly.
close to terminal 1 Milaan Malpense If you fly with easy jet you need to be at terminal 2 ( go to hotel Moxy straight across from the arrivals at terminal 2) the hotel has a shuttle bus but this leaves only every 30 minutes
the rooms were outdated no duvey but a shabby blanket room was very warm with no options to cool down you have to pay for wifi restaurant was not great
The grounds and hotel were amazing Quiet but still close to the airport Free Airport Shuttle The food was wonderful The bar was very friendly The staff were very helpful
The rooms were small but adequate to our overnight needs. Other than that - we loved it!
The staff in the restaurant was wonderful and great service.
The accommodation is not what we expected. We were very disappointed. Also, information on how to contact the free shuttle was not provided and was forced to pay 20 Euros to get to the hotel when we could have walked to the property. Front desk staff was not very friendly.
We liked the style, design and architecture.
Everything else. The hotel needs a lot of love and care and attention to detail and a soft renovation to take it to the level it should be.
The staff is unbelievable nice, the lady at the breakfast area super,..everyone at the front desk and the shuttle bus driver...super location, food "buonissimo"ill be back for sure...thank you to all
NEEDS ENTIRE RENOVATION OF THE ROOMS
Booked for the convenience to Malpensa Aeroporto, as we had an early flight the next morning. But found the food to be very good, and the bar/lounge a nice touch. Room was clean and comfortable. Good price for convenience.
That it was our last night in magnificent Italy!!!
there was no heat in the building and it was 64 deg F in my room. They said it was mandated by the city buy I moved to a hotel down the street that had heat. I stayed one night and left. I am upset that I am required to pay for they days that I did not stay and would like a refund.
Nice older hotel in great airport location. shuttles to airport every half hour.
Charges for wifi and cost of bar (5 Euros for a soda!) and restaurants are very high. Staff not always very helpful.
clean, plenty of room, good price, lovely gardens ( which unfortunately I didn't have a chance to enjoy)
The fact that wifi had to be paid- though not too expensive. I was not sure how much time I could use it for the price quoted, and I didn't want to register .
Excellent location, beautiful building, excellent room & staff
The restaurant menu is pitiful, by far the most feeble selection of choices I have ever come across.
Alex went out of his way to arrange for the pickup of my wallet at Milano Centrally which had been stolen while boarding a train in Rapallo. We cannot thank him enough for his special effort.
The location near the airport but away from the flight path was glorious. Out in the country, beautiful green open spaces. The villa itself was also most beautiful. The room very nice. Dinner was excellent. They had a very creative menu and everything was good.
There was some sort of disturbance in the kitchen or in another room off the dining room that was like a Fellini movie. Kids wailing, pots and pans clattering and the door between the kitchen and the dining room banged every time the wait staff went through it. It was so strange it was funny--but we were leaving, not arriving jetlagged.
Not your typical bland airport hotel; magnificent villa that was great value and perfectly geared to the airport traveler (good shuttle). So happy to have spent our last night in Italy in such a eally special place.
The location was perfect for an early morning departure from Malpensa Airport. Shuttle bus picked us up from rental car drop off the evening before our flight and dropped us off the next morning to catch our flight. Very convenient. Linens were very comfortable. The included breakfast had a good selection to get us on our way so early in the morning.
We had dinner the evening if our arrival. Good was good but prices were high for the portions.
Everything! A 5 minute drive to hotel from airport. It looks like you're staying in a castle, just beautiful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Came in late, were hoping to at least get a sandwich...instead a full on gourmet restaurant!! Comfortable rooms, great sleep, ready to take on the next leg of our journey!
We chose this hotel over other hotels with airport shuttles because we wanted to feel as though we were still in Italy on our last night. The building has a fascinating history (it includes many materials salvaged from Milan's original train station), and the largely deserted village of Ticino behind it made for an interesting morning stroll. There's a lot to look at inside as well, and we definitely enjoyed the fact that this was not just another generic airport hotel. Shuttle service was efficient and accommodating, and the restaurant and bar on site make for a comfortable, self-contained experience.
As with so many hotels of this scale, the walls are a little thin, so we heard our neighbor snoring and a few people wrestling with the locks to their doors after we had gone to bed. The room, however, was perfectly comfortable.
The staff was obliging. The restaurant was physically attractive, and the food was good.
The free shuttle from the airport couldn't be reached. Had to pay the taxi 15 euros for a 5 minute ride. The room is rundown: Cracked sink, wall fixtures attached in slipshod way, tiny old tv across the room, nonworking radio, no heat on a cold windy day and night.
Airport shuttle Character property with charming, old world feel Wonderful waitress at dinner Friendly service Cheap, easy internet (1 euro per hour) Nice room, great views Great price - especially compared to other airport hotels!
No fresh milk at breakfast (but this was an issue through all of Italy) - only UHT milk available.
Gorgeous Building circa 1930-rooms were generous in size, bathrooms nice. Beautiful dining room but quite pricey (probably because there isn't anything else around) but the food was good. Very close to the airport & free parking.
Staff very unfriendly and not at all helpful to us. Very noisy place--thin walls & doors. Paid Wi-Fi very intermittent.
