Hotel Villa Malpensa    

Location close to the airport. The building.

We liked the fact that hotel's location is right near Malpensa airport, yet it is in the middle of greenfield. It is an old mansion established by Caproni brothers, founders of aviation industry in Italy, so its got its charm and history. Personnel was very helpful! BTW - restaurant is quite exquisite - very fine dining, extensive wine list and a collection of Grappa's. Very good choice for a night or two to or from Malpensa on the way to Milan or your journey to Liguria or elsewhere.

Quiet, pretty location right outside the airport, which was perfect before traveling internationally. the room was very large and had a grwat balcon. Dinner wonderful and service very good.

Beautiful hotel close to the airport. Main dining room was closed, but the café was adequate.

As it was still early in the tourist season, it seemed that some of the facilities were not opened, such as the restaurant and pool.

A beautiful hotel with lots of charm and character. Conveniently located very near Malpensa airport. Excellent shuttle service to/from the airport. Nice restaurant in hotel. Easy access and parking. Reasonably priced.

I can't think of anything I didn't like. It is a wonderful hotel.

The Staff was very friendly & helpful. The restaurant was very good. Very relaxing location yet so close to the airport.

The common areas of the hotel are superb! The room itself was quite comfortable, a nice change from the usual "airport hotel." Dinner in the palatial dining room was delightful, with the best wine list we encountered anywhere in Italy.

The first room we were offered was small and overlooked a tarred roof. After changing rooms, all was well. When booking the room, it clearly stated that breakfast was included. That, unfortunately, was not the case. An extra 20 Euro for two continental breakfasts was an unpleasant surprise.

This magnificent Villa is just a kilometer away from the airport, but amazingly we never heard a plane! This is a huge feature as getting to the airport is not easy on the streets of Milan. It is near a large open area, and the children enjoyed investigating and observing the armor knights in the entry salon. They proclaimed it to be a castle. We had a marvelous gourmet dinner where the staff really catered to our young folk and their tastes as well as ours. Breakfast is served from 5 am, so we were able to eat before we had to leave for an early flight...and we got a home made cappucino as part of that bargain. Wonderful experience.

It was close to Malpensa

Beds uncomfortable. Cleaners noisy. Staff rude. Everything has a price tag. Looks pretty from the outside, it is horrid from the inside.

Near the airport. Their restaurant was closed but hotel took us to a near by restaurant in their shuttle. (The hotel doesn't have places to eat near by)

Beds are very hard with old mattresses, impossible to sleep on them. Restaurant was closed.

The personnel were fantastic and the downstairs and building were beautiful. The restaraunt was very nice and there was plenty of room for me to sit with my employee to talk.

The room was very old. The furniture had alot of nicks in it, which isn't too bad, but the curtains were in very poor condition, which gave the entire atmosphere a very poor appearance. No coffee making possibilities, which I can deal with. Also even though it was close to the airport, it was pretty much secluded.

The former home of the Count di Malpensa is about half a mile from the airport and is a beautiful Castle like affair, and in the spring the Rose Gardens and grounds are beautiful. The staff is very friendly, and Dinners there are a delight with a wonderful wine cellar, at a budget price that is surprising. If you get a deluxe room as we did it is comfortable and large. Do not stay in the regular rooms they are not small but standard for Italy.

Breakfast, is not up to the rest of the hotel standards and needs to be improved. Both selection and quality need improvement and additional personnel.

The restaurant was closed for lunch, dinner and breakfast.Due to its location there are no other facilities nearby. Obtaining food was therefore a problem. The alternative offered in the evening was mere snacks. The light breakfast offered was poor

Room service First night ,I arrived after restaurant was closed. Room service is very disappointing . a mc Donal wold have been far lunch better

Good value and very close to the airport. Building with a short but interesting history. Not like the usual airport hotels.
