The lack of other people. A room in which to sit and read, study or just relax would have been nice. It was further from the centre than I expected and the busses didn't run past 9.00pm. It was a nice stay and the staff were friendly but I think I was just expecting more. |

Very nice hotel, 300 metres to a superb beach. The bus from the airport passes the hotel, located between Fertilia and Alghero. If you pay attention, you can ask the busdriver to stop on the way. Nice staff. The bathroom could be a little bit cleaner (hair on the ground). The breakfast is okay, but a bit basic. The coffee is fantastic, though. |

This is a gem of a hotel, perfect for discerning people seeking a quiet and relaxing holiday break. Stands out from the usual mix available in Alghero by a country mile. |

Clean and spacious room, friendly and helpful staff. Dinner and breakfast were lovely and good value for money. Wasn't as close to the beach or main centre as we were hoping. |

Tastefully refurbished converted prison which use to house mutineers, set well back from the beach. Beautiful building, nice atmosphere for couples.Resonable priced restaurant compared with Algherro town. Staff very helpfull Restaurant could have been more inviting in the evening, e.g. low lighting, traditional background music. Felt more like a canteen with TV on. A sitting lounge area at the bar would have been nice |

Hotel was very attractive, peaceful location and well kept. Room was spacious and comfortable with sea view. Air con was in good working order and well needed!. The staff were all very friendly and helpful - gave us lots of useful information. Well placed for one of loveliest beaches - busy though we were there at the weekend. Bit of a trek from town (40min walk) though a few bars and restaurants nearby. We took the mini tourist train back from town to the hotel Oasis next door one evening for 3 euro each - leaves from the harbour / town walls at 11. Breakfast was a bit basic, not much choice, but excellent coffee. Would be great if you could rent bicycles from hotel. |

Easy Access to the Beach and restaurants. Pleasant surroundings. Room was a bit small for the price. Our first night we had Dinner at the Hotel. We had to wait for 2 hours to get a simple 4 inch fish with some kind of sauce...we were not impressed. The service was extremely, extremely, extremely s-l-o-w! I would not advice the guests to partake in Dinner there, go elsewhere, there are loads of Restaurants not far from the Hotel. |

Villa Maria Pia is a very nice hotel and you get value for money. It is located in a quiet area of Alghero and just 300 meter from the beach ! The staff are very helpfull and provide a good service. The hotel is located approx a mile from the centrum of Alghero. If you have kids and you do not rent a car, you might find the distance too long. We recommend a car - not only for the distance to the centrum of Alghero but to see the very beautiful coast and places around Alghero (a tip: drive from Alghero to Bosa and see the fantastic coats). |

The hotel staff is helpful and welcoming. The beds are fairly comfortable but their metallic structure is noisy and because the small size of the room, we hurt our legs many times . The breakfast is terrible, it doesn't fit the spirit of the italian villa. We were obliged to take an another BF in town. |

The hotel is well situated to visit the region (city and surrounding), close enough to Alghero, but quieter than in town. It is also quite close to the beach. |

The rooms are decorated with a lot of care and look amazing. The environment was not as nice as the villa itself, but still it was ok. |

The staff was fantastic! They helped me to find restaurants, good beaches and excursions like kayaking and a boat tour of hidden beaches. Their advice and support really made for a fantastic trip. |

Great care and workmanship went into the renovation/transformation of this old prison. The beach really is 250 meters away and the hotel is in a quiet zone. Good value for money. The smell - i think there must be some sort of problem with the sewage as the smell is present everywhere in the hotel. Not much of a restaurant and breakfast was poor at best. |

The Agriturismo Sa Suerera is a rustic farmhouse, located in the north of Sardinia close to the increasingly popular resort of Olmedo. |
Friendly and helpful staff will welcome you to this modern 3-star hotel, set in front of Lido di San Giovanni beach and just a short walk to the historic centre. |
There is no better way to experience Alghero than staying at cosy, comfortable establishment, cared after by a friendly, helpful staff. This is exactly what you’ll find at Hotel Alguer. |
