Overlooking Lake Como, Hotel Lario is in the Tremezzina area, famous for its historic villas and grounds. It offers traditional Italian cuisine, and grounds with swimming pool.

Hotel Lenno is in an elegant building just off the main road, and right on the shore of Lake Como, in the fantastic Gulf of Venus. There is free Wi-Fi.

Everything we wanted to do while in Lake Como area, we could do so easily. Between Ferry stations, buses and short walks, we had it made. The staff, especially Sara, were so knowledgeable and helpful...we were never worried. We had such easy access to Bellagio, Lenno, Menaggio since Tremezzo is right in the heart of the best things to see and do while on the Lake. The villa itself is lovely and our room with a full view of the lake and the sorrounding mountains, buildings, churches and hillsides was breathtaking. The breakfast was very good and a good selection to please everyone. The most fantastic dinner we had was at the pizza retaurant up the mountain behind the villa (steep hike but worth every step) was a must. Don't miss it! You will not be sorry you paid a little more and chose a room in the original villa and paid for a full lake view. Wonderful
The ferry, hydrofoil or bus ride into Lake Como city is long and expensive ...but worth 1 day. It is a busy city with lots of people and traffic and not our idea of where to visit this beautiful area. But if you need to shop, that's the place.
The location the room the lovly brekfest and above all :the great hospitality. We will come back
The breakfast was wonderful, served outside on the terrace. The staff was really helpful and spoke English well.
The pillows on the bed were uncomfortable.
This is our second time staying at Hotel Villa Marie. the couple who own it are so friendly & welcoming. It has a perfect location of being right in the middle of Lake como and walking distance to the ferry dock. You can walk to several restaurants also. I would HIGHLY recommend staying at Hotel Villa Marie.
Innkeepers Andrea and Elizabetha are very accommodating and helpful - even spent an hour handling our train reservations. Breakfast was excellent in variety and quality. Very good location for ferries etc.
The staff are amazing and so helpful and the location is just amazing.
Wished the rooms new part of the building had the same rustic interior as the old part.
The owners were charming and attentive to all our needs. The place was spotless and the location excellent. The accommodations were very, very nice. We went with our daughter and husband in their 30's and they, too, thought the place was outstanding. Provided free parking and wifi--breakfast in the patio was adequate. You could see that the owners took pride in their property.
We liked EVERYTHING. The only draw back was the lack of elevator. That was not a problem, however, since we were housed on the new annex on the ground floor overlooking the pool and lake. Tremezzo is not as lively as Bellagio, but those places are only a ferry ride away. We are glad we stayed here.
Location Willingness of staff & Owner to serve us.
Very friendly owners and staff, excellent breakfast, pleasant room with wonderful view. Convenient garage.
Not a bargain. Village itself not very lively, but thanks to ferry services, good base to explore the more interesting places around the lake.
Location, staff, charming building, fab views.
Nothing at all
fabulous views, great location just minutes walk from the ferry,on site parking, lovely building, large bedroom, large & spotlessly clean bathroom, good breakfast - all that and a swimming pool too!
nothing to dislike
The staff was amazing. They went out of their way to help us. The pool, while small, was a wonderful place to spend the afternoons. The patio wasn't crowded, and the chairs were comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the coffee was amazing. We were in the back of the hotel, and still had a nice view that was very private. Short 5-10 minute walk to the two ferry options--Tremezzo and Cardenabbia. We thought it was a huge testament to the hotel that people kept coming back to stay there on their vacations for many years. We would love to do the same in the future!
There was some construction the first night (not the hotel's fault), and the pillows and bed are very flat and hard. The rooms weren't glamorous, but we didn't come to Lake Como to spend all day in our room.
We stayed for 2 nights at this delightful B&B. Very spacious room with balcony overlooking the pool and the lake. The courtyard was perfect for an evening drink and breakfast. Our hosts and staff were warm and friendly. Parking and wifi access all good. A good place to base for exploring Lake Como.
Having to leave!
We loved the hotel, fantastic location, staff were brilliant and very helpful. Not too far from the Swiss Alps or from Milan. We will come back again!
Great selection for breakfast. Andrea was a mine of information about the local area.
The owner (Andrea) and staff were friendly and helpful. They made us feel at home in their lovely hotel. Lounging by the pool was a delight. We look forward to visiting again in the future. Ciao Andrea.
Not having that wonderful staircase in our own home!
Our room - no 5, in the tower with a wrap around balcony overlooking the lake. And it was huge!! Pool The owners Breakfast
Charming, friendly, professional staff and service. First class bedrooms spotlessly clean and hygienic throughout. Beautiful gardens and sparkling pool.
Nothing apart from only staying 10 days.
all staff were very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend this hotel breakfast was very basic but plentiful
most things were ok but road was quite noisy but didn't bother me to much
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay their. The owners and their staff go the extra mile to help - they even drove us to the next village bus stop on our departure because it had a shelter as it was raining!!
Nothing not to like
Really lovely hotel, nothing too fancy but in the perfect location and with a pool. Staff very friendly and helpful too!
Gorgeous room and location.
We were very impressed with the owners Elizabetta and Andrea who were both charming and welcoming. A a wonderful family run hotel and would return again.
Friendly family-owned hotel
Comfortable spacious room with balcony and wonderful lake view. Owners and staff were charming and very keen to please. 10 mins walk to lake ferry stop meant easy trips to other lakeside towns. Breakfast on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake.
Pool area has plenty of loungers but the pool itself is very small. Hotel is right next to the busy coast road but it didn't really mar our stay and we couldn't hear it from our room.
