Wifi is not quick
Location is perfect especially if you drive, close to old town and quiet. Room is elegant

The villa and the surrounding garden is beautiful. We loved the old building which has a special atmosphere. The rooms and the furnitures are very nice, comfortable and clean, really high quality. The location is also perfect: quiet, not crowded with tourists and has a beautiful view. The house is in a walking distance to the centre.

The wonderful breakfast, the free wifi, the gardens and the splendour of Villa Nardi made for very special place to stay in Firenze. Please note that the check in times must be adhered to as the reception is not manned and antry outside of these times would be challenging for that reason.

The Internet didn't work in the evening and at night.
The villa and the interior were great. Of course there are cameras but there is a lot if expensive stuff to steal. For us it was totally ok for such an authentic and beautiful accommodation. We really loved our spacious room and the cleanliness. :) The breakfast was also really great!

Wifi access is poor, we had to hand around in the corridor to get the right spot and connect to internet.
Rustic décor of this family villa is fascinating. The kitchen, garden and rooms are very authentic and bring you to another era. Wine collection in the corridor is impressive.

Some of the decor , though the XIX century furniture was perfectly matched with the villa's architectural style, some of the decor was poor.
Location, views, breakfast and bathrooms

The villa in itself didn't meet expectations. The house is old and not well renovated. Furniture and decor are old and boring. The service is moderate. Breakfast is poor. You don't have a feeling to be in genuine Villa but rather as in hostel ... not bad ... but still
The place is well located. Bus stop is in close proximinty. You need couple of min to reach city center by bus, and not more than 15 minutes walk. Palazzo Pitty with its gardens are really close. Villa is situated at quiet street and surrounded by own small park. There are enough places for parking a car.

Not customer friendly with check in times, couldn't even leave until staff arrived at seven thirty. Late breakfast times. Felt like the family lived in the Villa and customers where in the basement. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.
Beautiful building that would of been lovely to actually see. Nice gardens.

The villa itself, the beautiful park around it, the vintage furniture, well, everything

Not renovated, with the smell of the old house.

You have to check-in before 19:00 and Reception closes around 19:30 and you can not find anybody till 08:00 am.
First of all here is not a hotel, it is a part of a private house... They rent one floor of their home as hotel rooms. The location is not so near to center but it is in a good area of living zone of Florence. If you have car no problem, 10 min to the center.

Brilliant location and helpful friendly people.

You can't arrive at any time, because reception is open just in some hours of the day.
We think this is a wonderful hotel, we loved everything in there!! The rooms are comfortable and the people who work there are very nice!! The breakfast in a beautiful kitchen was wonderful!! I think one of the greatest things of the hotel, is the location. If you like to stay very close, but not in the middle of everything, this is the perfect beautiful place to stay!! Thanks for everything.

I really have no complaints.
Where do I start? We loved everything, the neighborhood, the house, the garden, the views over Florence from our room's windows, the stars at night, the bathroom with the double shower with a bench (great idea when one has been walking for hours), the breakfast in the cozy kitchen, the kind and helpful staff

We liked the fact that the location allowed us privacy that couldn't be obtained in Florence itself. Buses ran frequently and were no hassel.. The staff was extremely helpful and delighted in helping answer our many questions.

- it woud be nice if parking was free. It is on their own terrain, so why not?
- historic charm - good bed - near centre - quiet neigbourhood - very warm welcome - excellent information on restaurants and best sights, drawn for us on the map - private parking - breakfast is inclusive and very nice - free wifi

Located fairly close to the city center, in the classy, green neighborhood south of the river, this is a beautiful little castle with a large renaissance garden and a lot of taste. A highlight of our trip.

There was not to like about Villa Bar du.
The Villa is beautifully furnished, the rooms are large as is the modern bathroom. Very good breakfast, wide range of food on offer. Staff especially Paulo are lovely, very friendly & helpful. We loves the location south of the river near the Boboli gardens.

It's a bit strange to put pictures on the booking site of a library and sitting room, while those areas are private. The site calls it a hotel, while it is really a bed and breakfast.
Nice neighbourhood, friendly staff, good breakfast, good bathroom.
