The location and views are stunning. The Villa is well equipped and furnished nicely. It is located very close to the ferry for visiting nearby towns. The little shop nearby is staffed by a lovely woman who is English which was helpful for us. The information file provided in the Villa is excellent. It is full of excellent instructions for everything you use (dishwasher, coffee peculator, etc) and great ideas for filling your days sight seeing.
The beds ( like most beds in Italy) were hard. The neighbours can be a little noisy but are a lovely family with young children.
Location of VIlla was excellent! Sara ahead of the trip, at arrival, and for any questions was wonderful...Also, family living below, Matthew and Francesca were fabulous! Opened gate to enter property, friendly, gave reccomendations for restaurants, tours, sites! Beds comfortable, but please note, one bed is in a loft style area that is not private...that did not bother us though...Wonderful vacation!
Kitchen was sparsely equipped. No "American" or filter drip coffee pot...only espresso pot that was small. As all day coffee drinkers and 4 adults, we improvised with a pan of hot water, drip filter brought from Germany, and tall plastic cup to catch coffee! It was so funny, we took a picture! Juicer was broken... Also, large glass coffee table in living room was very pretty but very dangerous! After all 4 adults slammed their shins into the corners of the sharp glass, we put magazines in each corner to identify where the table ended...which you could not see until you were injured...table not kid friendly! Should list villa as three private bedrooms with one open loft bedroom...this did not afect our group, but might others... Only other thing we did not like was to have to leave!
Location, location, location. Beautiful view.
Climbing the hill with luggage. It was worth the hike though. If you have too much luggage, you may call a taxi after you get off the ferry.
Great interior design and excellent view! Very spacious, big balcony. Good for big family or group of people spending a few days at lake Como.
loved the views from villa, all facilities inside and out, clean modern apartment.
as we were a family of various ages, attending a wedding there,we found the downstairs neighbour, very unfriendly and arrogant,he obviously doensnt like families being on holiday and enjoying themselves, maybe he should live alone somewhere in the mountains.!
Breathtaking location easy to find when hiring a car Loads of room for our family of two adults and three children aged 13, 10 and 3 would easily have accommodated another family Bright and modern Every convenience including a microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, clothes airer and large 5 burner hob Exceptionally clean and well equipped Great power shower super whirlpool bath comfortable beds excellent storage just a few hundred meters from everything (shops, cafes, restaurants, swimming pools) It is in a lovely quiet location with fantastic views the terrace was perfect for al fresco dining
There were no serious negatives and we were very happy in general and we were only disappointed to have only a short stay No air conditioning, not really an issue with us because it was late August but I would imagine hotter months being a bit uncomfortable at night without the facility steep hill to walk up in the dark and challenging to drive up because it is narrow and winding with sharp bends The swimming pools are freezing but fine once you get in and start to move about The Brittania hotel pool was 8 euro each for the adults and children free but it was also 8 euro for each sunbed which was 48 euro total for our family! Bit steep, we decided we could manage with one sunbed and just pay for one adult and my husband was going to go away until the pool attendant said it was OK we could use 4 beds and just pay for two adults and one bed (24 euro) so then we stayed and we were there for the whole afternoon
Beautiful views Plenty of room for our family Helpful staff Easy access to ferries Parking space provided
big close to the lake perfect view to Belaggio
should have a newer TV with HDMI
The place had a lot of space. We had two young families so it was perfect for us. Location is fantastic, short walks to cafes, ferries etc. Great views of the lake and the area is very quiet.
Very comfortable.. Fabulous views... Really enjoyed being there!! Very well stocked kitchen with good utensils.
The apartment could have been cleaned more thoroughly.. Specially the terrace area, lights and walls were dusty with cobwebs around them. The hot water just stopped suddenly the night before we left !
Location, parking, view
No ironing board
The place was perfect, great views, perfect location for being close to everything but not in the middle of it. Sara was the best, helpful, accomodating... just great.
Dishwasher wasn't working. Downstairs shower wasn't draining properly
The location above the lake was wonderful, particularly as it looked directly across to Bellagio and ferry being close by. The apartment was more like a villa and had everything.
The power was a little dodgy. Having the oven on as well as the dishwasher tripped out the power which had to be turned on back in the street. Not really a problem but tricky in the dark. Thankfully iPhone apps provided a torch.
Everything!! I almost don't want to share this place with anyone!
