My daughter and I spent 3 days at Villa Nina and the hosts, Federico and Claudia couldn't have made our visit any better. They really made us feel like guests in their home. The location was perfect, close walk to restaurants and the ferry. Federico gave us great suggestions for sightseeing and getting around. It was a real treat because of our hosts.
That we didn't stay longer.
Location, the bedroom and bathroom were very beautiful with a great view of the lake.
Only one small sachet of bath gel was provided and no shampoo during the 4 nights stay. We asked for more but it was never given. Considering the price per night (295€) is so expensive, these should be provided. Breakfast can be a bit awkward as you have to sit at a long table with the other guests and prepare your own coffees and toast with machines in the middle of the table. Also strict about times and in my opinion it finishes too early for travellers who wish to relax (9:30am). The doors to the parking are not automated and you have to get out of the car to open them manually while badly parked on a busy road. To enter the house you have to walk through the family salon area which is stipulated to be private. This also can be a bit awkward. You are constantly reminded that you are staying in their home and there are a lot of "rules" with respect to entering the house, security alarm, etc. The price is what you would expect for a top quality 5* hotel and not a B&B in a family home. Certain details could be more professional.
- Location and view over the lake - Helpful hosts who made us feel very welcome - 2 small towns with some restaurants within walking distance
- Appt 4 persons (Dependance) quite expensive for what is offered: room rather small for 4 people especially as the breakfast has to be taken in the room (around a small table behind the bed)
We stayed in the Annexe above the garage, which gave us privacy and was very comfortable.
Nothing to complain about at all.
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Nina. The rooms are beautifully furnished, at great location and the owner is very helpful with providing useful tips locally. A very personal experience.
the amazing view on the lake. the combination of contemporary and antique furniture. the amiability and friendship of the house owner. the silence from the city. the quality of the breakfast products.
that i couldn't stay longer...
Our stay was fantastic and Federico and Claudia were perfect hosts, providing excellent breakfasts and insightful local knowledge for things to do and places to eat. We would definitely go back and will be recommending Villa Nina to our friends.
Lovely hosts and a great location-lots of great restaurants in the area. Villa itself is amazing...stay in the suite as the bathroom and room are out of this world.
Romantic boutique B&B with superb location on Lago di Como. Very forthcoming and attentive owners.
The location of the house was perfect, the view was amazing. the owners of the house were very hospitable and helpful. we felt like we were at home, so special thanks to Federico. ıt was a very romantic and relaxing holiday for us.
Wonderful location in which sites the character villa with quite a bathroom! A private overhead bridge joined the villa to the private dock which offered spectacular lake views. Freshly homemade ricotta cheescake and fresh fruits during breakfast were definite plus points. It was an exceptional experience overall.
