Breakfast was excellent as was the on site restaurant for dinner.
Our room was dark and a little chilly.
I've had the best time in Italy at Villa Nottola. Apart from a beautiful place, we were touched by the whole family who run the property. On top of that, the wine and olive oil there are so great! Too bad we got to spent so little time there, so there will definitely be a next time :-)
Probably the fact that the internet can be used only in public area, but hey, you're in a very beautiful Tuscan villa and countryside, enjoy the moment and the conversation with real people instead.
Wonderful location, on the way to Montepulciano (10 minutes by car), surrounded by green hills and vineyard. The winery is in the same garden and the landlord took us for a guided tour during which he explained how they make their wines. Rooms are very large and with classic/countryside furbishment. The restaurant is cozy and very good and since you sleep in the b&b you get a 15% discount. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Breakfast could be better: there's a nice assortment but unfortunately not everything is self-prepared: jams for example are industrial ones, would be better to have higher qualities ones, as well as the cake. And there is no bar, but only an automatic coffee machine for espresso, cappuccino and so on... quite sad in such a wonderful setting and location.
Situated on small vineyard- had very informative tour of the vineyard which was very enjoyable. Would recommend dinner at la bottle piena in Montefollonica- delicious, and full of locals.
Alfredo and all his simpathy Wine tasting Location
Alfredo and his wife and staff were really welcoming and informative about the local area, and made good suggestions about places to visit etc. They also went out of their way to provide us with a kettle for tea-making in our room, though this was not supplied as standard. Breakfasts were good and the on-site restaurant fine with a traditional Tuscan menu and helpful service. Altogether a very enjoyable stay..
The room heating was inflexible and could not be changed from air-conditioning to heating in September even though the weather was rather cool for the time of year. However we were rapidly supplied with an extra heater to make up for this!
He arranged the day tour into his own vineyard which we comprehended so much about the wine and grape.
A little be cold when we were stayed into the room and no air conditioning during the time, the quilt is little thin.
Charming Italian countryside property in the middle of the vineyard . Very welcoming staff. Great pool. The room was spacious with many country home features. The bathroom was huge. Very clean. The breakfast was excellent with a large choice and homemade cakes. The onsite restaurant is a must serving delicious italyan food and own produced wine.
Staff could not be more helpful. Alfredo a great host. Wine tour included - which was excellent. Beautiful location and close to many tuscan towns and villages.
Winery onsite. Close proximity to the city by car. Breakfast was excellent for an Italian breakfast!
beautiful buildings lovely welcoming staff great wine tasting great suggestions for activities with rainy weather beautiful surroundings (montepulciano is stunning)
a bit remote the lawnmower kept me up at night, but the staff did turn it off the second night
This Villa was wonderful. Beautiful setting with great views. The restaurant was fantastic, the food was amazing! The breakfast buffet was to die for. I will return and would highly recommend this villa to anyone...
Everything was perfect, especially the host. I would recommend the duck in the restaurant and the Nottola wine.
Beautiful location, stunning view on Montepulciano Lovely swimming pool Very relaxing atmosphere Very friendly staff Breakfast exceeded our expectations
stunning location friendly and warm-hearted lady at the reception unforgettable evening and night at the swimming pool among olive trees and with a bottle of absolutely unique red vino de nottola
very weak internet reception at the reception No Internet in the vicinity and rooms as well
Nice swimming pool Friendly staff Good Breakfast Spacious rooms Restaurant on-site
Air con really noisy, hard to sleep
Great athmosphere, stylish, very friendly service and....no Russian tourists (probably due to fact there are no terrible outlets like in Rimini)
Nottola is producing only one type of white wine beside lot's on red wines :-)
No comfy seats to relax in
Very friendly hosts; catered to my dietary needs. Superb breakfast! Restaurant on site was also excellent. Convenient location. Rooms were spacious and spotless. I'd highly recommend it, and I'd return.
Everything was prefect for us, we stayed at many different places during our trip in Itay, Villa Nottola was the best. Very clean and comfort, very helpful staffs.
A lovely location with beautiful views of the countryside. The rooms were amazingly spacious with tall ceilings and massive beams. The manager was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our visit to Montepulciano.
Sadly the restaurant was closed the day we arrived.
Alfredo, the property manager was extremely helpful and an awesome host. The views from the place are incredible. A great way to get a feel of real Tuscan accommodation. Would go back there anytime. Excellent wines.
Excellent location for touring; great "host" in Alfredo; comfortable pool area with good-sized pool; on-site independent restaurant run by Christiano serving range of local dishes and wines - all very good; visit to winery recommended; breakfasts good;
Would be good to have wifi in all rooms/suites; being English we would have liked tea-making facilities in room (though Alfredo was most kind at providing hot water!); breakfasts limited times (8:30 - 10) so not ideal for getting an early start for touring around (but good for getting a lie in!)
We had the best experience in Tuscany! Very friendly staff, excellent food at the restaurant (the best) and the view from the vineyards was stunning! We strongly recommend!
The room is simple. But not a problem at all.
Nice place and people. Restaurant very good, manager Cristiano is a very nice guy. Sunset and vine view is great.
Wifi signal weak at the rooms.
