open country historic Veronese Villa spacious reception rooms and bedrooms, modern comfort must have worked on wifi, it worked well all the way, wherever we sat down
we thought we booked a hotel with a restaurant, but found it was a B&B... luckily we got invited into a wine tasting+dinner at San Martin (11 November) and were told that the same resto service was going to be available on a full time basis in the future : this will make this offering unbeatable
Nature, staff, room quality...
This is one of yhe best batgain I've ever met in my life. A charming, classy villa with very friendly staff at a price of a two star hotel. I warmly reccomand it.
We booked this hotel as the location was optimal for our business negotiations. In fact we did not expect to get rooms of the type shown on the pictures. But we did! If you love high and spacious rooms, this is the hotel of your choice! Everything was clean and the rooms well heated (in fact we had to turn it down quite a bit). There are spacious lobbies on the ground and the first floor and we liked to sit there and discuss. There is even excellent free Espresso in the lobby! The staff was very friendly and made our stay comfy. It was no problem to get breakfast half an hour earlier than ordinary. The manager spoke English well and when at a certain time no English speaking staff was present, they used a handy with ingeniousness to have our wishes translated! When we asked for a place to eat, they recommended us a very unimposing local restaurant near by. Inside the place was in the traditional Italian style. The food was excellent and the staff there again very keen on helping us with the Italian menu! In short: For my next business negotiations I'll try to book this hotel again.
The weakest point was the WiFi. There is WiFi, but the signal is not distributed well – even in the lobby reception was marginal and you had to select carefully where you sat down. We had the best connection on the stairs! We were given with the credentials a sheet, that they are working on the problem – so I hope for my next stay... The second flaw was the misleading marker of Villa Ormaneto's location on the their own website (booking.com is ok). Good I checked this before we left from home!
