Diese Unterkunft ist unser absoluter Favorit in Süditalien: wir waren inzwischen zum dritten Mal dort und haben nun fast nicht mehr das Gefühl, in ein Hotel zu kommen, sondern bei Freunden zu Besuch zu sein. Wer keine Angst vor der etwas steilen Anfahrt hat, dem ist dieser Ort absolut zu empfehlen. Von hier oben eröffnet sich der weite Blick auf den Vesuv, auf Pompei, auf Neapel und - bei bestimmten Wetterkonstellationen - sogar bis nach Procida und Ischia. Die Räume sind perfekt sauber, weisen den Komfort eines Mehrsterne-Hotels auf, das Personal ist überaus freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück, jeden Morgen mit frisch zubereitetem Gebäck, ist ein Gedicht. Wer möchte, kann am Abend die hervorragende Restaurantküche genießen, in der überwiegend Produkte aus eigener Züchtung bzw. eigenem Anbau verwendet werden. Einen Versuch ist auch der herrlich frische Rotwein aus dem eigenen Weinkeller wert! Alle touristischen Ziele der Campania (Neapel, Vesuv, Pompei, Herculaneum, Sorrent, Amalfi-Küste, Salerno usw.) sind von hier aus gut erreichbar, man kann aber auch einfach die Ruhe des Ortes genießen. Ein großes Dankeschön an Stefania, Enzo, Rosario und alle anderen Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter des Hauses. Wir sehen uns ganz bestimmt wieder und freuen uns schon heute aufs nächste Mal!

Der super Ausblick auf den Vesuv und dem Golf von Neapel. Das Essen im Restaurant war Spitze. 5 Sterne! Das Umfeld vom Hotel/Restaurant (Terrassen, Gebäude) waren sehr schön. Alles sehr gepflegt und schön angelegt.

Die Anfahrt wie beschrieben, war nach Navigationsgerät unbefahrbar (schon gefährlich), besonders im Dunkeln. Eine Änderung der Wegbeschreibung wäre sehr, sehr sinnvoll. Die Speisekarte war leider nur in italienischer Sprache. Nur eine englisch sprechende Bedienung im Restaurant. Primär: Restaurantbetrieb mit unzähligen Familenfesten bis tief in die Nacht hinein. Ruhephase war dadurch sehr eingeschränkt. Sekundär: Als üblich bekannter Hotelgast fühlt man sich nicht so wohl, da mehr Restaurantbetrieb.

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, gepflegte Aussenanlagen. Insgesamt sehr sauber, besonders im Vergleich zur Umgebung. Geräumiges Badezimmer. Zu empfehlen sind die Menüs von der hoteleigenen Speisekarte, sehr lecker! Insgesamt moderate Preise, auch bei den Getränken. Hervorragende Lage. Das Foto aus dem Internet ist echt! Der Ausblick ist wirklich fantastisch. Die Auf- und Abfahrt zum Hotel ist nur etwas für weniger ängstliche Autofahrer. Eng und sehr steil. Das Hotel ist übrigens nicht schwierig zu finden, weder mit dem Navi, noch ohne. Die Anfahrt ist frühzeitig sogar ausgeschildert.

But it was hard to find. We got lost in the way to the hotel, so we had to call the hotel to pick us up.

this hotel is a GEM! The staff (especially Jesica) was exceptional, tending to our every need. The location breath taking.The food was better than any 5 Star hotel we have ever stayed in.

This hotel is very busy every night with hosting banquets. The noise level is somewhat distrubing if you plan an early night. If you like staying up until 1 am, then this shouldn't be a problem.

The view over Vesuvius and the bay of Naples is sensational. Sitting on the terrace watching amazing sunsets with a glass of local wine is hard to beat. The restaurant produced some excellent food, with the chef showing real creativity in coming up with additions to the menu for vegetarians.

Getting to the hotel by car is not for the faint-hearted: make sure you have a small one for the very narrow roads. Also, they advertise wireless in all rooms: but actually it's only in reception, and even then so slow as to be useless.

It is really, really difficult to find the place. Steep slopes, narrow roads. But all your anguish will be obliterated by the wonderful view, nice dishes, great grappa, clean air, originally-decorated rooms and of course thanks to the amazing Jessica you will feel at home. Almost every night there are certain kind of festivities. If you like to dip into the Italian way of celebrating it is an opportunity, otherwise avoid the place, evenings are not so quiet.

Except the wonderful and helpful Jessica no one from the waiters is English-familiar.

The friendliness of personnel is heart warming. The traditional diner we enjoyed was copious, original and very well prepared and presented. Good value for money as well. Good local wines are available. Spacious set-up of premises. Breakfast on the last day was the best!

The quality of the roads make it a place that is not reached without inconvenience. If you do not like parties that last the evening (not beyond midnight though) you might not like it here (we did). With the abundantly available oranges and lemons one would expect freshly pressed juices at breakfast. Breakfast quality changes per day.

The views, the food, the friendliness of staff. The place is very clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Ideal location for visiting Pompei and the Vesuvio, as well as Naples and the Sorento Peninsula. Very good value for money.

The roads around Naples are quite poor and the access to the hotel requires a good car as it is on top of a hill.

Difficult to find and far from any city

The hotel was a pure beauty. It is a privilege to wake up to a panorama of the mount Vesuvius. The room and the bathroom was big and luxurious. We were surprised to find a room of that quality to a price that low. The breakfast also was excellent, they brought fresh fruits and home made brioche's.

It's a little out of the city and impossible to go without a car. Also quite hard to find without a GPS.

Fantastic views of Vesuvius and wonderful home-made pasta dishes. Good, cheap wine and a pool for splashing around in afterwards! Also, one of the best breakfasts on our whole stay in Italy.

They had a graduation party the evening that we stayed that didn't finish until 1:00am. It wasn't such a problem for us but might be worth asking about functions when you book so you can get a top floor room.

The hotel is amazingly beautiful. The surrounding area is picturesque with views of the mountain and the sea. Jessica speaks both English and Italian and she couldn't have been more helpful and wonderful. My husband and I went down to the reception area very late to see if we could get some snacks to take back to the room and Jessica saw to it that we got some amazing anitpasto with wine and water, we sat on the terrace over looking the water and mountain, absolutely beautiful and romantic. The room is huge with a giant bathroom.

It is SO SO SO hard to find!!!!! It's up the mountain, down the mountain, around the mountain. We had to call the hotel(Thank goodness for Jessica) she led us there from the main road. But the good part is there are tons of signs. Once you find the signs you're good to go.

Striking view on Neapolitanian Bay. I don't think there is any hotel with greater view. Nice restaurant. It is not easy to get there - use small car, use google maps and street view, follow the signs. We got there at 1st attempt, but we were well prepared.

Soap, shampoo, shower gel - portion for 1 person for 1 day (should be 6x times more....). Not to nice, cause we travelled by plane with on-board things only... Dear Palmentiello staff - make it better next time. No WiFi in teh room - just in reception.

Very nice room with fantastic view!!! The liveness of the place! Nature to die for!!!

Location is a bit of the beaten track, so car is obligatory, and extra horsepower is a plus!!! A lot of parties going on, so if you are looking for a quiet place, look elsewhere! More of a comment nothing negative if taken under account in advance! Some wifi problems!!! Also warm water had its own mind, tended to come and go randomly while in shower!

The food was good and of course the view of the Vesuv! Just amazing!

The road to the hotel is a real adventure, and to be honest not a nice one at all! Very, very steep. I am normally used to driving in the mountains, but I had a rent a car, not the best one - a Fiat -, so you can imagine how much fun I had! You need good nerves, and driving skills, narrow road and cars coming your way all the time! Too much noise, to be honest in the hotel, until midnight. Parties, Weddings etc. Will not return, although the view, the food, the waiters etc were indeed very nice, cant complain about them.

We loved all.

-Расположение отеля в горах, соответственно добраться можно только на авто и не с первого раза (транспорт не ходит) -Каждый вечер проходят банкеты и вечеринки, бывает до 2 ночи (для сна нужны беруши ) -в номерах интернет только по кабелю. WiFi есть только в ресторане и около ресепшн.

Viešbutis, kambariai ir restoranas tikrai įspūdingi, jau nekalbu apie vaizdą pro langą, visas Pompėjos miestas ir Vezuvijus kaip ant delno...Nerealu

Ne tiek , kad nepatiko tik kelias iki viešbučio reikalaujantis visų vairavimo įgudžių: posukiai ir įkalnės pei kartas pietų italų vairavimo būdas :)
