This hotel was great! It was a boutique hotel with wonderful staff, beautifully renovated rooms, and close proximity to Via Veneto. It had a wonderful terrace to sit out in the afternoon and sip some wine or just relax! The atmosphere at the hotel was tranquil and very enjoyable.
We loved staying slightly away from the touristy areas and the price reflected that, The hotel was very clean and comfortable The staff were excellent. We were able to walk to most of the sights although got a taxi once which was reasonably price. If you are not used to walking any distance it might be a bit too far out from the action. The car parking worked well. We loved it .
The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff could have been more knowledgeable when asked for restaurant recommendations. Overall, it had a very nice ambience.
Too far from shopping and restaurants.
Room was big, comfortable and very clean, as was the rest of the hotel.
Breakfast isn't great; hotel a little far out from main attractions. But would still highly recommend.
We loved the beautifully furnished room with soundproofed windows, the very very friendly and helpful staff, the location in the safe area around the American Embassy. The breakfast terrace was so pretty and comfortable, also the roof terrace was a bonus.
The hotel - it's decor and cleanliness
The breakfast was very poor. One morning they had run out of rolls and croissants and the remainder of the time the bread wasn't fresh. I also found the reception staff to be unhelpful when we were due to leave the hotel for the airport I had to ask the gentleman at reception twice before it was actually done
This hotel exceeded our expectation in every way.
Great location close to Borghese gardens and free secure parking on premises. Some rooms are spacious and very comfortable.
The breakfast was awful, possibly the worst we had anywhere: stale food and odd service. Some double rooms are tiny.
Villa Pinciana is an elegant re-purposing of a beautiful old city house. We chose vp because of its proximity to Galeria Borghese. We had one day in Rome before our cruise left so decided to make a re-visit to Galeria Borghese our target. The hotel was an easy 20 minute walk from the hotel. The location also proved to be a couple of blocks from Via Veneto and it's pricey hotels and cafes. Bus transportation is excellent, but the Metro is a few more blocks away. The hotel itself was a perfect combination of old school elegance and modern conveniences. Service was welcoming and helpful. Our room was small, but with a wonderful shower in the "bathroom." Our favorite place in the hotel was the beautiful room off the lobby, complete with flowers and chandelier. For us breakfast was included. It was copious, including amazing meats, cheeses and hot dishes. We ate dinner nearby at Lo Stil Novo to complete our brief Roman Holiday.to
Everything. Especially the lovely garden and warm staff.
Decor is a bit garish and unfashionable. Who cares? It sort of suits the place.
Wonderfully quiet after the noise and crowds of Rome. Very relaxing
I really liked the elegant room and spacious beautiful bathroom. The location is ideal for walking much of Rome. There's parking which was a huge plus as we had rented a car for the trip.
The breakfast didn't offer fresh fruit - it was canned peaches and pears in syrup. The other options were very sugary - cakes and pastries - I would have preferred to have more healthy options in the morning.
Staff assistance, including map with bus, metro advice on arrival at hotel. Pleasant decor, cool respite from heat.
10- 15 minute walk to metro.
everything was good: location, big nice room, balcony in bathroom, parking
the decor in the room, and the breakfast room as well as the sitting room
did not like the room I was assigned especially as we prepaid in advance - room located in a dumpy floor - will not prepay again and did not like the breakfast
We were very happy with this hotel. It was the best part of our stay in Rome. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, great location, nice breakfast and the room was superb.
The hotel is basically a very nice villa. We stayed for our wedding so we got the best room - Suite Borghese, which was awesome. It has two terraces with a great view over Rome, it is huge, the beds are comfortable, there is no noise from the rest of the hotel (it is on the top floor). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel contributed to making our wedding memorable.
Very good staff and always helpful
Shower liable to flooding very quickly and same in sauna. Prices ok but that's rome I guess. Could do with kettles in room otherwise very good overall. Definitely need to sort out showers .
Excellent service in all areas, very clean and comfortable. Very quiet area but only 16 minute walk to Spanish Steps......
No tea and coffee facilities....
Lovely location, excellent staff (very helpful especially with our embarrassing lack of Italian), comfortable, very clean, nice breakfast and AIR CONDITIONING!
Upon arrival Sandrine had already prepared maps outlining the principal places of interest, bus numbers to get around the city and provided us with a small pack containing details of local places to visit with opening times and essential information for visitors. She also recommended several local restaurants to suit various culinary tastes. These varied in price and we visited most of them and were more than pleased with the selection of food on offer. The whole experience was very welcoming and all of our party thoroughly enjoyed their visit. Also all members of staff were most helpful which helped to make it a memorable visit
We have been to Rome a number of times but this was the first time we had stay in this area so it was quite fun to try something new. There are a number of very good restaurants close by and it was only two blocks from Via Veneto and more action. We walked to the Borghese Gallery- at most a 10 min walk. Taxi's are reasonable in Rome and there was a taxi stand nearby so everything was convenient. The # 116 bus runs from the Via Veneto into the heart of Rome and was quite fun as transportation and for an overview of historic area. We loved the breakfast at the hotel, lots of choices and very good quality. The staff is very nice and helpful. We would enjoy staying here again.
Nothing, we were totally happy. There is a grocery store a block away and the hotel has a garden so one day we had a picnic. Very nice setting.
Location is within walking distance of tourist areas like the Spanish Steps and shopping areas, however the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. There are some good restaurants close by.
Breakfast choices could be better. Bathroom floor was not cleaned during our stay. Taxi booking was not handled well by the front desk.
Quiet location, but easy enough walk to everything, amenities excellent, breakfasts provided good variety, staff very attentive, especially the dark-haired waitress whose name we unfortunately didn't catch.
Location was excellent. The staff was outstanding.
We actually checked in on two different occasions and each time the king size room was smaller than the room with two twin beds, which accommodated my sons.
