Hotel Plaza is in the heart of Salerno, right across from the train station, and close to the bus terminal and the pretty seafront promenade. A breakfast buffet is included in the room price.
Score from 501 reviews Very good
In a quiet location at the south end of the Amalfi coast, Lloyd's Baia Hotel has a panoramic cliff-top setting above its private beach. In Vietri Sul Mare, it is a 10-minute drive from Salerno harbor....
Score from 704 reviews Good
B&B Mini Hotel Incity offers free parking in central Salerno, just 550 yards from Salerno Station and a 2 minute walk from the promenade. It features free Wi-Fi and serves a simple Italian breakfast.
Score from 290 reviews Wonderful

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room & bed, great bathroom & wonderful view of the Med. Good breakfast.
We booked a superior room with a spa bath & were really looking forward to it. On arrival, this room was not available. They apologised & advised Booking.com had not included this request on the booking request. We were shown the request & confirm this. Planter boxes on balcony obstructed view of the ocean when sitting on the balcony.
The location was terrible, Close to the highway and no possible to come to the city without car.
This is great hotel for the money - the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable with a stupendous view, the staff is very helpful, and the location is very convenient for connecting to other Amalfi coast attractions.
We treated ourselves to the suite room. Well worth it for the Sauna, which we used everyday. And certainly stopped any aching muscles from all the lovely long walks we did day and night.
The only critism is that the website does not tell you that the lift/escalator system down into town is out of use.
Charming hotel, very friendly staff, beautiful views, 20 minute walk to town
Wonderful location. The atmosphere of the albergo is very welcoming. I felt ad though I was in a palace. The decor, the furnishings are top notch. The gardens are outstanding, and the view, magnificent.
Breakfast is not Gluten Free friendly. Had to bring my own, but coffee, juice and fruit in abundance.
It was ok
ok for stopover, not so nice for a long stay. would not do that
Staff were all friendly and welcoming - extremely helpful and great location to explore Naples, Pompeii and the Amalfi coast!
The location was a bit the out of the main town but easily accessed by car! The view at night fr the balcony is great! The hotel is spotlessly clean , it's a bit on the worn side; could use a little Reno! The breakfast room and pool area are nice ! The city of Salerno has amazing shopping!!!!
At breakfast there was a lack of fresh fruit, this seems typical and strange considering the beautiful peaches, plums etc in season! Also the coffee is from a machine that gives u a little plastic cup! They had a cappuccino maker but I guess this is easier! Make sure to get your coffee before 1030 as it shuts off!!
Staff were very helpful & friendly. Large room. Great view. Free carspace.
Location is good for a vehicle as most things are too far to walk to.
Good size bedroom with panoramic view and an amazing bathroom
Thought it a bit strange to carry out pool maintenance in the middle of the holiday period
Lovely position, great views and nicely decorated room
Very hard to find,
The location was great and the room far exceeded my expectation. It was modern but still comfortable.
Super Service-orientated staff! The "Boss", Tristan is more than helpful for everything, he gave us a lift to the harbour and guided us with his motorcycle to a phantastic restaurant which he has recommended. All other of the staff are more than friendly and helpful as well. Thanks to them all! Andreas
Everything was perfect, no complaints at all! :)
The hotel inside was beautiful, very comfortable. Sea view from the room.
Booked as a hotel, but only had facilities of bed and breakfast. Pool looked lovely, but full of leaves and no safety, so unusable.
The staff were very helpful and the hotel was like walking into someone's home, very inviting. It was quite a relaxing place to stay.
The hand held shower had no wall holder to put it in when you wanted to use your hands to say, wash your hair. I thought this to be not good considering the high standards throughout the hotel.
The location is stunning. The hotel itself is lovely.
The receptionist gave the lie to the name of Maison de Charme. We had the impression to disturb. The bathtub in my room was grimy, the floor dirty. In another bathroom the rubbish bin had not been emptied. At breakfast we were informed that the buffet was included in the price, but not the coffee. It seems a little mean, considering that coffee is usually breakfast in Italy. Tea was free of charge however. Very odd and unfriendly. We stayed there off season, so perhaps in the high season it's better.
excellent spot with wonderful view of the city Excellent decoration
Good view, nice hotel
