Villa Principe Di Belmonte  

Superb greeting from Massimo and his family; I was well looked after like one of the family. I hope to visit again and spend more time in this unique location.

The hotel is situated in lovely Ispica in a beautiful picturesque and quiet area occupied but the huge grounds of the Villa itself. It is about 10-15 minutes driving distance to the centres of Ispica and Modica and about the same distances to supermarkets Conad and Spar and very well connected by the SS115 to surrounding areas. It is also about 20 minutes driving distance to the ferry terminal at Pozzallo. The staff are exceptionally friendly, both to us and to our children. Our room was in the annexe and was big and spacious with one double bed and ample space for 3 small single beds for our three young children, It had original stone floors and a wooden beam ceiling, air conditioner, tv and a small fridge with complimentary water bottles which was a Godsend as the weather was very hot. The ensuite shower room was provided with toiletries and abundant thick soft white towels which were changed daily. Everything was very clean. Bed linen was crispy white and very clean. There were also spare blankets in the wardrobe for everyone. The room opened up onto a balcony at ground level to spectacular views of the gardens, the countryside and the sea. Breakfast was served outside in the calm peaceful and pretty courtyard and surrounded by plants, and fruit trees. It was buffet and included coffee/tea, our favourite 'latte di mandorla' and fruit juices together with bread, delicatessen, and delicious Sicilian pastries, yoghurt and the freshest of fruit. On one morning breakfast was transferred inside into the dining room because of the weather but in equally beautiful surroundings with beautiful affreschi and antique furniture. We opted to have dinner at the Villa and we were never disappointed - complimenti alla cuoca!! as we were served our favourite Mediterranean and typical Sicilian dishes accompanied by house wine produced in the vineyards of the same Villa.

The only thing was the difficulty with Wifi in the room but one could go in the foyer for better reception and wifi is free so it wasn't a concern for us at all. For those who don't speak Italian, TV only had Italian channels in our room. However there is a special children's channel called Rai Yoyo which runs continuously and has both English and Italian programmes.

It is quite and has a relaxing touch...to the nearest town Ispica 5 min. Drive with nice Restaurants and easy friendly "locals"..

posizione eleganza E charme del posto ambiente immerso nel verde relax

la struttura è molto bella, rinnovata senza alterare l'architettura originaria, stanze enormi, personale molto cortese e disponibile, posizione comoda per raggiungere velocemente in auto ogni posto di interesse turistico della zona, colazione (solo dolce) di buona qualità e servita sotto un portico meraviglioso

L'arredamento delle stanze "antiche" è un po' arrangiato, il bagno è inevitabilmente ricavato all'interno delle stanze stesse, ma tutti peccati "veniali" se si considera l'impagabile sensazione di dormire negli ambienti di un tempo. I patiti del confort potrebbero optare per le depandances di nuova costruzione.

Mi è piaciuta la location, villa di una bellezza superba, stanze deliziose, posizione straordinaria con vista su tutta la costa, poiché si trova leggermente fuori dal centro abitato si dorme nel più assoluto silenzio. Colazione buona ma non eccezionale, pulizia notevole.

Forse la colazione potrebbe essere migliorata.

La posizione è eccezionale. Si raggingono in 30 min diverse località del ragusano e del siracusano. La struttura ha una vista molto bella e domina dall'alto la costa. Le camere sono ampie e fresche d'estate (il condizionatore è presente, ma non lo abbiamo usato nonostante i 36 gradi esterni). La struttura originaria è stata recuperata in modo adegiato. La cortesia e la disponibilità del personale dell'albergo.

La colazione è un pò carente e dovrebbe essere più curata e varia dato il livello della struttura. Sarebbe bello dare un tocco di sicilianità alla colazione.

Sehr ruhige Lage mit schönem Blick, Zimmer zweckmäßig, sauber und gutem Bad. Sehr familiärer Betrieb mit netten Mitarbeitern.

Die Ausschilderung könnte verbessert werden.

Bellissima villa antica con una vista spettacolare sul litorale. Bella la piscina, magari se organizzassero un bar dentro la struttura sarebbe meglio, visto che l'hotel è un 4 stelle. Personale molto cortese, camere essenziali ma pulite e confortevoli. Consigliato.

abbiamo pernottato di sabato e ci siamo trovati a convivere con un ricevimento nuziale (ovviamente molto rumoroso). colazione da migliorare

Superbe cadre, vue sur toute la ville avec une grande propriété excentrée de la ville. Le lieu vaut le détour pour sa piscine qui surplombe la ville et son grand calme. Idéal pour se reposer une journée.

La propriété organise des mariages, anniversaires etc... et si vous avez la malchance de réserver une chambre pendant ces évènements, vous pourrez difficilement dormir : prévoyez les boulequies!

L'arredamento delle camere non é quello curato di un quattro stelle, ma direi di una pensioncina con due stelle. Ad esempio il frigobar é un normale vecchio frigorifero bianco da cucina, la camera ha illuminazione insufficiente, nessuna cura nei mobili e nei tessuti . Nulla da dire sulla pulizia della camera. La piscina aveva le muffe lungo le piastrelle, in quanto penso che non ci fosse il cloro e che non ci fosse un ricambio d'acqua adeguato. La colazione del mattino era triste e non certo al livello che ci si apetta in un quattro stelle: nulla di un po' particolare come invece riscontrato negli altri alberghi in Sicilia. Un giorno avevano esaurto le bustine di te.

Posizione ottimale per visita del ragusano in maggio luogo tranquillo e panoramico
