Situated across from the Aurea Gate, one of the 4 gates to ancient Paestum, Il Granaio dei Casabella is a former barn. The restaurant on site serves Campanian specialties.

Very helpful staff. Clean, large comfortable, quiet, charming but old room. Breakfast was good. Large parking next to archeological park. Everything was fine. Would go back.
Stings by mosquitos due to lack of screen on windows.
Nice rural location, perfectly positioned for archaeological site and museum. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel food was good. I very much enjoyed my stay.
The location. I had just spent 6 days in Rome and 5 in Naples and this was just the relaxing break I needed before spending 5 days in Florence. The staff was excellent, helpful and very kind and friendly. A short walk to the archaeological site and a short walk to the beach makes for a great spot to visit. Defiantly will be in my next trip back.
Everything! Great location, friendly, welcoming staff, comfortable room, pretty grounds, good pool.
Rural location, friendly personal service, quality in house dining, large pool.
Proximity to the remains. Proxomity to a good restaurant - Nettuno - both 10 minutes walk. Good lunch and dinner choices at the hotel and good value too.
Beds were hard. We would have liked to have a drink at the bar, but it seems to shut down at 10.30pm and lights out.
Very nice hotel with very helpful staff in an outstanding location.
Luigi and his daughter Rita were very helpful, and Luigi picked us up from the train station. The hotel was very comfortable, and close to the amazing ruins as well as to the beach and the dairy farms. The pool was the perfect place to cool off in the afternoon.
Position , ospitality, very clean as 3 stars hotel .
Room & wc are very old , bad smell of animals .
Excellent location and very helpful staff
The staff was friendly, helpful and very cooperative. They had a limited menu, but multiple choices. They accomodated our wishes. Their breakfast spread was extensive. Their location near the ruins was very convenient. It was a good suggestion and we would happily return.
Their signage was poor and the location was difficult to find from the poorly marked highway, but should not have been. Anyone using Rick Steve's book should look on the map of the ruins he includes at the very bottom of the page in small print. There they will see the exact location. I'm a big guy and the shower in our room was very small. I had to turn the shower off while soaping for fear that I would bump the handle with my arm or backside and burn myself while soaping.
Very nice hotel, decorated in good taste. Very friendly staff, especially Rita!
