Hotel Villa Romana  

The food at Villa Romana is authentic Sicilian and excellent.Our room was spacious,beautifully decorated,cleaned thoroughly on every one of our nine days stay and had avery comfortable bed. Staff were helpful and friendly without being over familiar and were obviously happy to be part of a team delivering excellence. We will certainly return and will recommend the hotel to all .During our stay I did not observe any other guest who was not totally at ease in the hotel or who had cause for complaint

Quite new building near the beach, really nice view towards the sea, although a bit spoiled with industrial building right in front of famous rock (hotel is not to blame on this). One of those rare hotels in Sicily where WiFi actually worked. Price is fair on last minute deals.

Staff seemed to be a bit dizzy by evening with poor English, still we could get everything we needed for our baby, so this isn't real complaint.

The location on the beach

Unfriendly and useless staff who would not make a single effort to speak a word of english or any other languages

Nice foyer, and pleasant swimming pool and deck.pet-friendly.

Surroundings are quite unattractive.Rooms are quite small.

Modern and clean right on the beach with some restaurants nearby, (try the Golden Beach just 100 yards away). Free off road parking. Popular with local people for celebrations. Convenient for visiting the Valley of the Temples and other sites. Good walk along the beach to spectacular chalk cliffs.

You need a car to get into town as the only real option is to walk 2 miles on a very busy road. Views towards the town are not picturesque.

La gentilezza del personale,la pulizia dei locali,la pace e la tranquillità che si respirano soggiornando qualche giorno lì ! consiglio l' hotel a chi vuole visitare la parte più selvaggia della sicilia ma anche la più autentica.

Aspetti negativi dell' hotel non ne ho riscontrati, solo il mare non è dei migliori a causa degli scarichi che vengono versati in mare a causa di una rete fognaria non adeguata....

Abbiamo riscontrato che il ristorante non è di qualità nonostante il livello dell'albergo e tra l'altro con servizio ai tavoli pessimo anche il maitre non ha dimostrato nessuna cordialità e professionalità verso nuovi clienti. Negativo.

Ho prenotatato per sbaglio ma posso dire adesso fortunatamente. E' un vero 4 stelle sia come qualita' camere che come professionalita' del personale. Ottimo rapporto qualita' prezzo , ideale per chi vuole fare una vacanza tranquilla unendo mare ed antichita'

Pracht locatie direct aan zee. Nette kamers, ruim eigen balkon bij de kamer, vriendelijke bediening.

In het na-seizoen weinig keuze aan restaurants op loopafstand van het hotel.

Lage, Ausstattung, Sauberkeit

Nur sehr schlecht englisch-sprechendes Personal. Frühstück (kein Gemüse, jeden Tag die gleiche Käse- bzw. 2 Wurstsorten).

Die Lage am Meer.

Türen nicht dicht, Badezimmer keine Abstellflächen für Beautycase oder Toilettenetui. Auf der Reise hat man immer Gepäck dabei. Also sollte man 2 Koffer auch vernünftig lagern können.
