Hotel Villa Romana  

-Service was friendly -Dinner was good

- Walls are thin and you hear the air condition of other travellers all night. - Bad location, run down environment - Beach was dirty - Rooms are old - Antenna was down, so only Italian TV. No attempt to fix this. - Minibar has no glasses, and no bottle opener.

The food at Villa Romana is authentic Sicilian and excellent.Our room was spacious,beautifully decorated,cleaned thoroughly on every one of our nine days stay and had avery comfortable bed. Staff were helpful and friendly without being over familiar and were obviously happy to be part of a team delivering excellence. We will certainly return and will recommend the hotel to all .During our stay I did not observe any other guest who was not totally at ease in the hotel or who had cause for complaint

Quite new building near the beach, really nice view towards the sea, although a bit spoiled with industrial building right in front of famous rock (hotel is not to blame on this). One of those rare hotels in Sicily where WiFi actually worked. Price is fair on last minute deals.

Staff seemed to be a bit dizzy by evening with poor English, still we could get everything we needed for our baby, so this isn't real complaint.

Warm welcome by manager Enzo who provided every assistance including later booking us onward on our tour of Sicily. This is a beautiful hotel; light and airy rooms with stunning views over the bay and across to the city of Agrigento. On top of that we enjoyed generous breakfast buffets and reasonably priced gourmet dinners. Without doubt the best hotel we have ever enjoyed in Italy/Sicily.

this hotel was in a very poor location and seemed to be used only by coach tours it was understaffed and the swimming pool was empty

Het hotel ligt aan het strand en heeft een aardig zwembad met ligbedden. Verder ziet het hotel er goed onderhouden uit en heeft het een mooie uitstraling. Het is een goed uitgangspunt voor een bezoek aan de tempelvallei bij Agrimento en de op 2 km. Gelegen Scala dei Turchie. Bij het hotel kan je gratis parkeren.

Het restaurantpersoneel is nogal afstandig en niet erg servicegericht.

Après une visite de la Vallée des Temples en plein soleil, une baignade s'impose... L'hôtel (situé à ~6 km) offre le choix entre piscine et plage. Parfait ! On peut aussi déjeuner au bord de la piscine (entre 13h00 et 14h00 uniquement). Le repas est de bonne qualité et pas excessivement cher. Le personnel est accueillant et serviable. L'hôtel dispose d'un parking inclus dans le prix (relativement rare en Sicile dans cette gamme de prix).

Quoique bien équipée, notre chambre était un peu petite. Elle disposait d'une grande terrasse privative dont on ne se sert pas ou peu (il aurait mieux valu une terrasse plus petite et une chambre plus grande). Le petit déjeuner n'était pas exceptionnel...

Camere con bagno cieco con condutture obsolete che emanano una puzza terribile. Pulizia delle stesse e delle terrazze pressoche' inesistente. Certo il salone ristorante e' appariscente anche se discutibili gli arredi, forse sarebbe meglio curare il servizio la funzionalita' dell'intera struttura che (sarebbe un 4 stelle!!!???) necessita' molte migliorie. Booking dovrebbe offrire maggiori garanzie! Marco e gli Amici

Hotel confortevole personale gentile, bella vista sul mare.

Ottima, posizione, vicino a tutto, bella anche la spiaggia antistante, servizio cortese, camere molto pulite e moderne, bella vista sul mare, consiglio assolutamente!

Muri un po' sottili sentivo la tele della stanza accanto e colazione di non grande qualità ma cmq negli standard di 3 stelle piu che di un 4, ma va bene lo stesso!

La salle de restaurant qui est superbe. Hôtel confortable

Accueil nettement insuffisant; il ne nous a par exemple pas été demandé de nous aider pour nos bagages. Petit déjeuner nettement insuffisant avec le dimanche à 9h45 un buffet très dégarni et surtout des gateaux et des vienoiseries industrielles. Ambiance triste Dans notre chambre la douche fuyait et dans celle de notre fils le coffre fort ne fonctionnait pas. L'hôtel est situé dans une zone hideuse; il donne directement sur la plage mais seuls une cinquantaine de m2 devant l'hôtel sont aménagés alors que la mer se trouve 50 à 100mètres plus loin; tout autour on trouve des mauvaises herbes poussant sur le sable. La photo qu'on trouve sur le site n'est pas truquée mais on ne se rend pas compte de la situation réelle de l'hôtel. Il s'agit quand même d'un 4 étoiles...==> Très mauvais rapport qualité/prix.
