Close to transport, good value, friendly And helpful staff
The interior of the rooms could have a facelift
We liked the location and the stuff were very helpful with our questions .
The bed was broken , the build looks really old .
connection with train en public transport breakfast is excellent
sounds of the nabour toilet
Staff where excellent they made us feel very welcome!!
Could have had more variety at breakfast
This accomodation has been very satisfying. It was very near to the city centre and the means of transport were very frequent and helpfull. There are both tram and bus station right outside the hotel. No need for a car rental. The stuff was willing to help. The breakfast buffet was full and great. The rooms were really clean and towels were changed every day.the area has nightlife and many restaurants.i strongly reccoment it to everyone.
there wasn't wifi connection, so we couldn't contact home. the water could be warmer.
Nice service in the reception. Breakfast very good. Nice towels in the bathroom
The madras of the bed was not very comfortable. The breakfast staff was very grumpy.
Noise No hot water in the shower
Staff who had fake smile on their face glued to them
Everything else Breakfast Tiny room with dirty floor Cold water in a shower No iron at hotel! Toilet was next to sink so no chance to move
Staff were very helpful. Breakfast provided was good.
Hotel is situated on a hill, required us to haul our baggage up a steep flight of stairs. It wasn't an easy walk to the train station.
price, we simply wanted a cheap room for the night between locations. pamela on front desk was a delight.
it's a little hard to find the toilet cistern leaked and splashed all over the bathroom when you flushed
- can take a tram and get in the city center in 15 minutes
- around hotel lots of trash; - promised in-room wi-fi did not work ever after few reassurances from the reception that "it has fixed by specialist" . When you look at the "specialist" you understand why; - horrible, damaged shower and horrible toilet; - not friendly maintenance staff always speaks arabic in a lobby and all the day watching TV in Arabic and don't care of guests, smoking in a lobby ..; - this was the worst hotel in my last 15 years of travelling experience. However after conversation with different Rome guests in a Rome center i noted that ALL OTHERS experiences same problems makes me to believe that everage hotel business in a Rome is oriented to the taking your money ONLY without giving much back to satisfy guests. Dont expect any OK in a 3-star at all, consider 3-stars=2-normal stars in Italy and Rome specifically (Bologna was much better, Florence was also horrible).
Good location by the station. Friendly, good facility. However there is a stairway from the main street was less easy to a traveller who has a big/heavy suitcase.
It was unlucky that a group of young people stayed and made noisy loud music, loud voice, bang noise around/after mid-night (it was Thursday night).
What we liked the best is the value for the money. We were gone all day long so we just came back to shower and sleep. Air conditioner worked very well, breakfast was excellent, staff was very helpful. This hotel was recommended by our next door neighbor.
It could use some remodeling. Hard to find the first time.
Good value for money great location right next to the tram into the center of Rome would defiantly recommend
There was nothing not to like
Great location out of busy Rome but easy access via tram line. Great service and friendly staff
Good location, breakfast with fresh orange juice (from real oranges)
The shower room's door could not be closed, the room's ground was pretty dirty (with black spots on the carpet) and there was a feather on the ground
Like that the staff, Sara, was very professional, cooperative and helpful in moving us to a better room. The first room was quite dirty--carpets and walls. The next room was a great improvement. We could not get wifi in our initial 3rd floor room, but we're able to in our next 1st floor room. Breakfast was good, with much enthusiasm for the fresh squeezed orange juice. Once we figured out the trains we were able to get around and enjoy our stay in Rome!
The very stained carpet and walls of our initial 3rd floor room. Would not recommend the restaurant for dinner.
Very close to the trainstation in Trastevere, Good breakfast, a nice but very short stay (only one night). Good with 24 hr reception since we arrived late in the evening.
I don't think we would've picked this place for a longer stay. It was good, but lacked that little "extra" you want for your holiday.
The rooms were clean. The breakfast was fair, specially with the machine for natural orange juice. The long lady in the reception was so friendly. The hotel were near the train and tram station.
The staff could be more friendly. The room could have a view but that was totally covered. and the emergency stairs were exactly in front of our room's window and all the time some people were sitting there smoking and talking. The bathroom had the problem of water, after 15 minutes showering the water stopped going down! The quality of coffee of breakfast was horrible.
Staff was friendly
Our room AC was not working. It was very hot and they were unable to get it repaired. They have offered us changing of room but we did not like other room being offered.
Price vs. quality = good, breakfast was nice, we loved the fresh orange Juice!!
The location - quite far away from the city centre and no good bus, tram or subway connections after 11 p.m.
We stayed at Villa Rosa in the beggining of June. Its clean, near traffic routes that you can take tram or train to many destinations including city center. It's so easy to get to the city center. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast is good and the fresh orange juice was very nice. The A/C was working and provided a chill room to rest and sleep in.
I didn't like that there was not a small refrigerator in the room to keep water or other things cool. The district near the hotel maybe feel a little scary but we didn't have any incident.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.
We were booked into a sister hotel around the corner which had no reception and didn't feel very safe at first.
Great staff and absolutely great for its price!! We felt very welcomed and I would go there any time again. Close to the nicer and younger part of town and also super close to the Trastevere railroad station (train to airport stops there). If you are looking for a budget hotel? This is it! Have fun and say hello to the nice staff from me:)
Close to Trastevere Station, but unless arriving by car or taxi, you need to haul your luggage up a long staircase from the Circonvallazione Gianicolense street level to get to the hotel, which is very inconvenient.
The room smelled of old cigarette smoke, the shower in the bathroom was missing a door panel, and carpets and walls were dirty. Hotel rooms need an update and renovation.
