Villa San Giorgio  

La Villa est très bien située au milieu du vignoble du Valpolicella, un peu en hauteur avec une belle vue sur le Lac de Garde à 20-30 mn du bord du Lac ou de Vérone. Deux personnes à l'accueil, bar et petits déjeuners parlant français, très chaleureux, sympathiques et de bon conseil sur la région et les sites à visiter. Des chambres spacieuses, claires, propres, confortables une prestation au moins d'un niveau 3 étoiles français ( à la place de la triple nous avons eu 2 chambres, la triple est plus adaptée à une famille avec un jeune enfant ). Un restaurant avec une belle carte régionale, à des prix abordables, bonne qualité, un personnel également très gentil. A visiter absolument.

Service, quality, comfort

Hotel went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.The veiws were stunning. Breakfast was excellent. Wifi was fast. Wine was fantastic. Restaurant onsite was good. We will be back1

The hotel terrace looks west and the sunset was superb. The restaurant below the hotel (run as a separate business) was really excellent, friendly service and really delicious food. We used the hotel as a base to go to Verona (including going to the Opera) this worked really well and the staff very kindly lent us cushions.

Would highly recommend this hotel. The owner/manager is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast, on a terrace which makes the most of the hotel's awesome location, with views over the vineyards to Lake Garda. On-site restaurant offers exceptionally good food for a special evening. We definitely hope to return.

Wonderful place to stay. Great views of local vineyards from the rooms. Wish I had read the fine print that the restaurant was closed on Wed nights, but the hostess pointed us in the direction of a lovely restaurant a short walk away.

The staff of the hotel were very friendly and helpful, offering assistance including the use of a gps to get us to and from the opera in Verona. Breakfasts were fabulous, the view of the vineyards from the hotel lovely, and the room was clean and tidy. Only problem was the air conditioning did not work very well when it was extremely hot. We would recommend this hotel, and return in a heartbeat.

we especially liked our host Gabrielle, who went out of his way with any and all of our requests.. He not only gave us his personal recommendations, but supplied us with tour books for us to use while at his villa. The views were amazing. The atmosphere for dinner at the restaurant was fantastic. It was so relaxing to have breakfast ( with top quality bread, cheese and especially the eggs and tomatoes) on the terrace overlooking the entire valley of vineyards. He went out of his way to make my wife two eggs over easy, but we didn't dare tell him afterwards that there is a difference between over easy and over hard, just as there is a difference between soft and hard boiled eggs. ---- The bed was large, two double beds together to equal a King or better, without the typical european divide between the mattresses.-----It was also hard which I like.

Our room was not cleaned or made up on our first day, possibly because we didn't leave the room until noon.

The staff are excellent, very friendly, though we do speak Italian. Breakfast is very good, too. Views are exceptional.

La posizione e' meravigliosa. Le camere sono ampie e la vista incantevole. Wifi gratuito e colazione abbondante.

Hotelli sijaitsee puolen tunnin ajomatkan päässä Veronasta Valpolicellan viinialueen kukkuloilla, vieressä hyvä viinin maistelu ja ostopaikka. Hotellilla on oma parkkipaikka ja sieltä avautuu mukavat näkymät Veronan tasangoille ja myös Gardajärvi siintää kun katsoo oikeaan suuntaan. Hotellin alakerrassa on korkealuokkainen ravintola. Vieraista pidetään hyvää huolta. Aamiasbuffet on hyvä.
