In a 19th-century building, the Quirinale is a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. This historic hotel is connected to Rome Opera House through a passageway in its leafy courtyard.

The breakfast was good, the staff member "Antonio" was awesome, easy access to get around rome by going around the corner from the hotel to catch the tram and their property was gated.
The first room they offered us was a corner room (Room 204),that had to be one of the worst room in hotel history.
The staff went above and beyond to help us have a wonderful trip!
Lightbulb out in bathroom
I am completely satisfied about everything - my stay was above my expectations - I will definitely stay at Hotel Villa San Lorenzo next time I am in Rome.
GREAT staff, beautiful building and facilities, excellent value for price, excellent transport to all attractions. Comfy bed, lovely "happy hour" (aperitif) downstairs every evening, charming and ample breakfast. Also, the staff were *great* with our kids. Such a wonderful experience for our first trip to Rome!
NOTHING wrong with the hotel. The surrounding area, while very convenient to the center of Rome, is not the most attractive part of the city (graffiti). However, it's #1 safe, and #2 the public transportation is excellent (ex. tram 3 straight to the Coliseum / Forum and tram 19 straight to the Vatican), which more than compensates for a few unsightly walls. (And again, the hotel itself is beautiful.)
The staff are really helpful !
I reserved this room for my parents, who are on their 70's to spend two weeks in Rome. They said that everything was perfect. The room very clean, and comfortable (on the small side). The staff super attentive and the breakfast very generous. They went there to celebrate their birthdays and the hotel administration left a bottle of wine with a card for my father and a bottle of wine and a flower bouquet for my mother. My parents were really amazed with this beautiful detail. I would definitely try this hotel the next time I go to Rome.
Everything was perfect. No complaints. The hotel is a bit far from downtown, but the tram station is in front of the hotel and takes you to the Coliseum in 25 minutes.
Great value , pretty hotel, really good breakfast, staff couldn't do enough for you, great places to eat locally, very close to trams into the city
The neighbourhood is scruffy so you need to look past this
Nice people, very good breakfast, I am very satisfied.
The staff where brilliant & the hotel was excellent with great links to all tourist locations
very friendly and helpful staff, nice place and very stylish room
All the staff and especially Alexandro, Antonio and Anna were so helpful - Great tips on local eateries and bars and how to get about in Rome. We loved Pomodora and S.A.I.D chocolate factory about 10 minutes walk from hotel. Don't be put off by the grafitti this is where all the art students live and we found everyone really friendly.
nice breakfast, really friendly staff
what us really disturbed, between romms was really noisy, we could hear everything, when they take shower or talk or toilets, it was really annoying, so we could not sleep very well.other side, the location of hotel is quite bad, far from histrorical centrum and there are nothing to do in aorung of hotel. quite dirty places , and wates everywhere...
Location Staff Breakfast Rooms
Noise from other guests which travelled easily Very small shower
Everything. I loved the charm of the residence turned hotel, it made me feel at home. The breakfast plentiful and varied. The very attentive staff. Excellent!
Awesome staff and beautiful room. Breakfast was fantastic
It's quite a walk from the nearest metro but worth it
extreme friendly staff, an oasis in Rome, perfect breakfast, we will come back
This is a little hidden gem. The hotel has a beautiful old world charm and surprises you from the get go. Maximilian went completely out of his way to make our stay as memorable as possible. He is a super asset to this hotel! Thank you !
Absolutely nothing to complain about! We loved this place!
Lovely hotel in traditional style. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We loved the location. The is a tram to the Colosseum in front of the hotel; however, we opted to walk pretty much everywhere.
friendly staff. good location to visit different attractions in rome. nearest station is only about 2 min walk from where colosseum is 15 min and vatican city is 45 ride on the public transport. breakfast buffet was very good. rooms were specious. price was very reasonable for the service they provided.
They don't care about clients' preferences. They have only 3 rooms with bathtub
Very friendly and professional. Always ready to help and make your stay more convinient. Good price / quality ratio. Surrounding not so spectacular but pretty close to the citycentre. We used only ones the tram to get to roman attractions. (Tramstop available in 3 min). Absolutely positive!
the personnal was awesome, very nice and helpfull, the room are clean and arrrr I really enjoyed all. There is a happy hour at 7 euros for 3 cocktail, which is good to start the night ;)
2 bad point : The room are quite noisy (you can hear the guy cough around) The area is a bit strange, we arrive late at night and strange people around. BUT We will come back here just, because of the nice people who work there.
This was a great location. The price is unbeatable, considering the quality of the services and the location. It is not in the centre, but you can easily go with the tram at the Colosseum and the Termini station. There is a student neighbourhood nearby so there are plenty of restaurants and bars.
Nothing much. Maybe the bathroom a bit small.
I spent 5 nights with my friends in this hotel , fares are moderately cheap with good services, helpful staff and the location is great a minute from tram and bus. There is supermarket next to the hotel. I will surely stay in this hotel in the next time.
The rooms are a bit old.
This hotel is great. The location is close to the metro and bus lines. It is not in the busy tourist spots so it's quiet at night. There are bars and restaurants in the area and a market literally next door. There's a lot of graffiti everywhere in Rome. It's considered art there. The hotel is in on street with alot of graffiti but it was adorable. It is tucked in a corner and is very cozy. The staff was beyond amazing and was there 24/7. The breakfast had a large variety and the service was excellent. Wifi was descent and they have a nice bar area.
The bed was a bit firm. Our room was beside the breakfast area and you could hear the kitchen staff. The shower is very small, functional but small.
