We liked the location on a small hill overlooking the beautiful Tuscany landscape. Although limited, the selection and quality of food offered was beyond expectation. The room was tidy and clean. Selection in the dinner menu could be increased.

I visited Tuscany with my 18 year old son for his birthday. We were recommended to Villa San Lucchese and it far surpassed anything that I expected. Marco and his staff which includes many of his family were warm and so helpful. I cannot recommend this Inn enough. From the minute we stepped on the grounds we wanted to stay---we miss it.

Very friendly and efficient friendly welcome in this family run hotel. Ultra elegant aunt and charming nephew meet and greet, and make guests feel as if they are the only ones in residence. Beautiful public rooms, and luxurious bedrooms with panoramic views. Breakfast is epic,-do enjoy aunt's freshly prepared cakes, and eggs 'any way' ( omelette is a speciality!) Beautiful pool, and a tennis court available, too! A bit tricky to find from Poggibonsi, and a cruel climb by cycle up to the hotel; car drivers will be able to enjoy the views, with none of the pain!

All was Excellent!. The location couldn't be better, between Florence and Siena. Warm staff, were ready to help and assist us with every issue or questions. Very good breakfast, and dinner was very good as well. Breakfast was great with variety of daily fresh homemade cakes by bella Lucia, and eggs and omlettes to order. By the end of the stay we met some of the Family owners, and took some snapshots with them. We can not express in words how much we enjoyed our stay!

Excellent accommodation in the heart of magic Toscana landscape: - very friendly and heartful owners and staff; - historic villa, however, very well renovated; clean and pleasant; - rich breakfast is included in the room price; dinner's menu is not various, but exquisite; - perfect atmosphere! Our vacations was too short ;-)

What I first liked of this hotel was the location, a nice ancient villa surrounded by the Tuscany countryside. The staff was really polite and helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. We had our dinner twice in the hotel restaurant. The meal consisted in a selection of typical tuscan dishes with a modern touch and a good selection of wine. I'd like staying in this hotel in the future. I would recommend this hotel to everybody.

We like everything about this place. The friendliness of the staff was beyond anything I have ever experienced in my travels. By the end of our stay we had met the entire family and felt a part of it. Breakfast was great with variety of daily fresh homemade cakes by bella Lucia, and eggs and omlettes to order. The location couldn't be better, smack in between Florence and Siena. Must have a car though. The views and sceneries were breath taking. The dinner at the restaurant was really good. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here. Dim lighting in the room.

We chose the location because it was a good central point for visiting Siena, Florence, San Gimigano and Arezzo. Friendly staff and a clean, comfortable hotel. Maybe the staff tried too hard to please at meal times.

We loved the location and the room was perfect for us. The staff made us feel right at home. The Villa was just a terrific way to end our trip and celebrate our 30th Anniversary. It's a great location to do day trips to the other historic locations.

This is a family owned hotel (11th century castle) and these folks are just so sweet and helpful. Marco provided us good info and then even made phone calls for reservation. His aunt cannot speak English but is ever smiling! When we reached, she was only one there so I tried communicating with her as we were starving-she managed to tell us restaurants are closed 3.30-7.00 pm so fixed us some ham/cheese sandwich with cakes and some cappuccino! Every breakfast was very good too. This castle is on top of a mountain and the place is very quite and serene. We walked around the area and like restaurant Cassero for dinner one night a lot. San gimignano is just 10 km away. Siena and Greve less than 30 min. Lot of wineries and olive farms are close to the area Tuscany is best explored in a car and GPS

Handy location for touring Chianti wine countryside. Radda best village for welcoming atmosphere and visitor friendly focus. Nice hotel, smarter inside than out though, would stay again. Restaurant closed so had to try our luck in town. Not so successful with our restaurant choice on this occasion.

My husband and I absolutely loved this hotel. It was centrally located to all of Tuscany. You could go anywhere for the day from here. The hotel setting was a beautiful location in the hills of Tuscany overlooking the valley. The staff was helpful and accomodating in every way. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. Our room was lovely. Would recommend having a car so you can go off during the day and roam the area, but come back for dinner!!

We had two big beds in a big room, which was nice and the bathroom was renovated and had a bath. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was a little too far from Poggibonsi and the breakfast didn't work, because it took a long time for them to fill up with cheeses and ham. They had a lot of sweet cakes though.
