Offering tranquility and free parking in the center of Rome, Hotel Aventino is located on the Aventine Hill, a 10-minute walk from Circo Massimo Metro. It features traditional, elegant rooms.
Score from 309 reviews Excellent
In the chic residential Aventino area of Rome, San Anselmo is a 19th-century villa with a garden where breakfast is served when the weather is nice.
Score from 361 reviews Excellent
Relax on the grounds at this friendly hotel, in the popular area of San Lorenzo in the center of Rome, surrounded by typical restaurants and cafés.
Score from 1023 reviews Very good
Hotel Arcangelo enjoys a quiet location just a few streets behind Castel Sant’Angelo.
Score from 520 reviews Very good
Good breakfest and good facilities as well. Free parking.
A bit over rated and far from downtown.
The cold drink at the arrival. 10-15 minutes walking distance from the town centre. The hotel front yard is quite green and nice. Not much more to like
The room was extremely cold and when I complained, they made it extremely hot the next day. Only one rubbish, dirty iron and ironing board at 5th floor, that ruined my shirt. The staff were either very grumpy or very friendly, there was no middle ground. The few receptionists that I dealt with were so unfriendly and unwelcoming. The hotel lobby is also quite bad and doesn’t feel cosy or welcoming. Most things are either old or old fashioned. Low quality bedding, and wardrobes, very small shower cubical. I am a this person, but still found it very difficult to turn around in the shower room. The location of the hotel was also in a very boring and unattractive area of the town centre. The breakfast was also quite average, nothing special. Quite expensive for what you get and I would go there again.
- very clean - The location was perfect for us. Close to the Roma.s highlights but not into the touristic crowed. - Charming - Crew is quiet, discret and helpful
- The breakfast was okay. It could have been better. - The lack of informations available
location, staff, charm of room and hotel Loved this place!!
wifi is dependent upon room your in. We stayed two different rooms, one had horrible wifi and the other excellent. One room had a VERY hard bed and the other was fine. I still loved this place!!!!

Quiet area, but area attractions and restaurants easily accessible. Good breakfast Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel had a nice character, felt very safe.
Wifi iffy in different rooms, one room had awesome wifi, the other was spotty One bed extremely hard, the other was fine.
I found the staff at the hotel very helpful and always pleasant. Especially a Mr Corato because we had a late check-in and he was very informatve and helpful
Extra service, room cleaning, staff is very friendly and professional
The internet connection is variable with time and location in the hotel

- Location: Aventine is green, calm and close enough to the historic centre. - Hotel's garden full of tangerines. - Friendly staff.
Some banging noise which woke me up (room 274) every morning around 6-7 a.m. I haven't figured out what it was. The elevator?
Room is large and comfortable. Breakfast was terrific and staff were very helpful and serviced you with a smile.
Can not think of any.
Beautiful rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff.
No restaurant or other facilities (gym, pool etc), my room was very dark
Very clean and comfortable Staff very friendly
Room was located near reception and was noisy
Our room, #269, was nothing less than huge. A well appointed corner room with three windows overlooking the garden, made for a delightful stay. The breakfast buffet held a wide selection for every taste.
Although the marble tiled bathroom was quite posh, the shower enclosure showed definate signs of age and needs to be replaced.
Actually not far away from old town. You can use public transport down the hill. Excelent value, nice interior. Quite neibourhood.
Nice room with comfort in the garden. Good breakfast.
Radiator in the bathroom was leaking.
Wonderfully helpful staff, beautiful courtyard, nice breakfast, enchanting decor
Room was very dark and lighting totally inadequate.
the hotel layout
Great location, friendly staff.
Single room closest to reception- so noisy!!
- Very quiet yet centrally located (10 min walk from Forum Romanum) - Luxurious interiors - Breakfast buffet was excellent - Very friendly staff - Free WiFi & printing for tickets etc.
- The beds were a little hard - Jacuzzi in our room did not work
The shower lack of a system to avoid the water to flood the bathroom floor.
The breakfast location was very nice. The style was also charming. Our first room was great, our second room was ok w regard to comfort. Staff was polite.
Location was very from everywhere but atleast the walking kept us slim!!
Very pretty, clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Location walking distance to forum and colosseum and several very good restaurants. Room & bath good size. Special touches such as heated towel rack and makeup mirror.
Hotel is extremely hard to find and no coffee for early risers. Would suggest detailed directions sent with confirmation and coffee and tea made available in room or at least lobby.
Staff were excellent, food was great. Location was fair and the bed was rock hard
Loction , personal , clean.
I was not treated equally (pricewise) as my other colleagues who all of us were on mission to service FAO meeting and it was agreed in advance on FAO rate for UN staff servicing that I had to pay 220 per night while my colleagues paid only 114. I contacted booking com many time also our coordinator on that regard but they did not compromise with the price. The hotel in general (room/ location/ service/ etc.) it's absolutely not worth 220 per night. Any way it was a mistake and will never again, as there are many good hotels in the area with much less price.
