The hotel has amazing lake view, especially the restaurant where we had breakfast and aperitivo. A big advantage is a private parking, which is hard to find in the most places on the lake. The center is only 10min walk downhill, so it’s very peaceful in the night. Our room was on the second floor (there is an elevator), very clean, modern, with a huge window overlooking the surroundings and lake. The staff, both on the reception and in the restaurant, are so kind! The breakfast was really delicious and various, from salty to sweet.

In general Como Lake is very beautiful, there are lots of great walks in nature along the lake shore or above the villages in the mountains. The Villas (Carlotta, Balbianello for instance) have stunning gardens and art pieces. Great shopping in Menaggio at La Bottega di Camilla (silk scarf at great prices and many lovely models). Great delicious perfect Pizza at Constantin's in via Camozzi in Menaggio.

Nice place, although the two closest restaurants were awful, especially Creme Caramel were they served a raw egg on a pizza and refused to cook it more!! Da Luigi was disappointing with a poor standard of cooking, over or under cooked pasta and terribly dry lasagna, also we were recommended a ridiculously expense bottle of wine, although we declined and never returned. Trattoria Pizzeria Dei Platani is far superior, excellent pizza the best on Lake Como! Food always fantastic with friendly helpful staff. Visited there a couple of years ago, received high standards every time. Throughly recommend a visit or two!

Beautiful views across the lake from the balconies. It was an oasis of calm when we were there in high season - with narrow lanes with colonnades, archways, and stairways meandering down to the lakeside and quiet relaxing beaches. There are two great value restaurants within a couple of minutes from the apartment. The owner was most helpful with recommendations for places to eat and to visit and his communications with us was great.

The bedding was luxurious and beds were very comfortable. The reception was extremely welcoming. There was one waiter at dinner that was quite charming and funny, i wish I had gotten his name. The menu was large, and food was delicious. The location was away from much activity, but lovely gardens and easy beach access. A classic. And lots of parking.
