food was poor, no ham or cheese or anything hot for breakfast. Bathroom was scary, little and very old, there was no hairdryer. Room was very big and very old. No wi-fi.Horrible, horrible experience.

The price was good. Personal was kind, spoke good English and was helpfull. Location was a great starting point for trips to Enrice (very well doable to drive to it by car in the low season) & in example Scopello (entrance of 'Riserva Natuale Dello Zingaro'. Huge rooms.

Noisy (you hear it very clearly if someone just walks on heels through the halway).We were there in low season so it was not a big issue. Breakfast is best described as doable.

Big airy rooms, immaculately clean, lovely friendly staff. Great secure parking.

The downsides, it's not purpose built so you can hear every noise from the tiled floor corridors. And it does get really bad. I can only assume that at the price you will pay, it attracts people with little respect for other guests. I'm sorry but at 2 in the morning, high jinks in the corridor is going to wake everyone up. And then on a 2nd night a child was outside of a room bawling for over 20 minutes, this time at 3am. It's a real shame as the place has every other base covered, just do not expect a night of unbroken sleep.

Room was big and clean. Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's a lovely big building which was once a convent I believe. Our room was massive with huge high ceilings and an extra bed. The bathroom was also big with an adequate shower (no bath unfortunately) and constant hot water. The addition of vending machines for snacks and drinks in the lobby was very useful. Breakfast was adequate though nothing fabulous. The location is a bit out of the way and there's not much in Valderice although we went to a great pizza restaurant called 'Frank's pizza' and had two great meals there, cheap too! We only stayed 2 nights and used the hotel as a base to explore the west of Sicily and, for the price (€30 per night) we were very happy.

No restaurant at the hotel which is a shame and it's not ideally placed for those without a car.

Nobody takes care about you there. Big and quiet place with possibility of parking. The breakfast was the best we had at the Sicily.

Very cold room, we were freezing in the night. Really tiny bathroom, it was impossible to use it.

The locations and size of room

The bathroom.. Toilet set very tight to wall, and shower tra is very small and everytime we showered it was a mess in the bathroom as sower tent did not cover ara.

This was a clean hotel with plenty of parking. Room size was very large and perfect for family with kids or a group of four traveling. Large over sized bathroom and bedroom. Wifi available in lobby and depends on where your room is - in your room too. Hotel is very large and seemed like it was once a convalescent home with wide hallways and a cold steril feeling. My husband suggested it might have been an insane asylum at one time. restaurant that was recommended was very good and within walking distance. Erice is very nearby.

A very steril feel to this hotel without a lot of personality. Price was right though and location was good for our biking group.
