Villa Sant'Andrea

The hotel is located right on the beach and has it's own private beach - this is main advantage as there are not many hotels with private beach in Taormina. The other great thing about Villa Sant'Andrea is that funicular is situated in 1 minute distance from hotel and it takes you about 2 minutes to get to the centre of Taormina where there are plenty of restaurants and cafes. The hotel has a lovely garden and the rooms are clean and decorated in mediterranean style. In our room there was a large terrace and we spent almost all the time in the room there.

Breakfasts are ok but there is not a wide choice of everything. Sometimes there are not enough sunbeds on the beach so you need to come early to occupy them, actually the staff on the beach are very friendly and they usually bring additional sunbeds from somewhere.

Room size for standard room was disappointingly small for the cost

Motivation of guest service staff is very warm and felt at home. They reacted to different type of requests in timely manner which made our family quite comfortable during our stay in this hotel.

Entusiasmante:l'hotel è un piccolo paradiso, la struttura spiccatamente quella di una villa privata con camere confortevolissime e un giardino verdissimo e ben tenuto.Lo staff molto preparato ha saputo essere anche "familiare" nell'accoglienza, nella disponibilità e nel sorriso sempre spontaneo. Vicinissimo alla funivia per Taormina. La colazione sul mare è imperdibile.Ritorneremo appena possibile

La brochure dell'hotel non gli rende per nulla giustizia

le parkeing payant 13 euros par jours, la plage est en cailloux pas de sable, le prix exhorbitant et le menu (franchement pauvre) du restaurant oliviero, assez loin du centre de taormine

Wir hatten hier einen traumhaft schönen 3 Wöchigen Urlaub verbracht. Ich möchte mich auf diesem Wege nochmals bei allen Mitarbeitern des Hotels recht herzlich bedanken.

Es gibt keinen Grund sich zu beschweren - man ist in einen südeuropäischen Land und da herrschen andere Lebensgewohnheiten als bei uns und das muß man akzeptieren oder zu Hause bleiben.
