Very Clean and comfortable for the price. With place to park so it is quite convenient. BNot too far walk to town center.

Walk to town center is up hill so it may pose some problem for older people.

Traditional looking but very modern and spacious. Cortona is wonderful town to visit and the Santa Margherita is a very short walk to the centre of town (5min)

Excellent price performance, helpful staff. The property is a short walk from the center of Cortona, uphill but quite easy. 5 min to the gate and 10 to the main piazza. Accommodations are very clean and confortable, breakfast correct and price unbeatable. Being an ex convent, don't expect luxuries. Don't miss the Diocesan Museum.

Wifi only in public spaces. Towels changed every 3 days, as expected in low cost lodgings in Italy.

Gated entrance and parking lot, great decor, clean room, large private bathroom, and the view was awesome.

Didn't realize that our hotel room did not have air condition. Traffic noisy outside our rooms until early morning hours due to our windows being open. Communications gap with staff although friendly and helpful.

Very nice A/C room, at a good price. Just a short walk into central Cortona.

Breakfast, even by Italian standards, was minimal.

Great helpful staff, very quiet, beautiful room, very clean and lovely big bathroom. Fantastic value for money, wish we stayed longer, would book again.

We didn't realise we had to make prior arrangements to arrive after 3pm. No problem though, we just should have checked. Had to wait 10 mins for someone to come along. Our fault for not checking!

Quiet! Almost no other guests were there, and it ws very secure, with many gates and locked doors between the guest nd the outside world. Unexpectedly over-the-top breakfast room decor. Impressive coffe vending machine in lobby.

It was hard to find, hard to get ahold of the desk staff, except during particular hours, and I got locked out at one point when I went out to my car leaving the room keys with my daughter in the room because all the hotel' outer dors were propped open, but when I came back with my luggage, doors were locked and nobody answered the buzzer. Only when my kid came looking for me 45 min. later did I get back in!

The hotel is a pleasure place to stay just a short walk from the city walls, with a large chamber and good bathroom. Highlight for the staff courtesy.
