Villa Simplicitas is a 19th-century building, located in the countryside between Lake Como and Lake Lugano. This simple 2-star hotel offers rustic rooms with wrought-iron brass beds and antique furnishings. A 1-hour drive from Milan, Hotel Villa Simplicitas is surrounded by meadows and ancient chestnut trees. The property includes a working farm. Parking is free. The rooms are located in the main villa or in the smaller annex. Each is equipped with carpeted floors, and a private bathroom with shower. Guests can relax in the lounge or in the antique billiards room. The on-site restaurant with candlelit veranda specialises in regional cooking and serves also breakfast every morning, also in the veranda. le charme des maisons anciennes dans un cadre bucolique. La salle panoramique où le petit déjeuner est servi.Le salon et la salle de billard. Une grande chambre joliment meublée. L'accueil et la gentillesse de tout le personnel. La difficulté à trouver l'hôtel . C'est le seul reproche.

Die Nostalgie die das Hotel ausstrahlt ist der Hammer, man fühlt sich gleich in die 20er Jahre zurückversetzt. Auch die Musik die das Dinner begleitet hat seinen charme. Das Essen war sehr gut und es muss niemand mit Hunger vom Tisch gehen. Das Zimmer war mit antiken Möbeln eingerichtet, ganz nach unserem Geschmack. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wer gerne an die Gute alte Zeit denkt ist hier richtig in der Villa Simplicitas. Wir kommen sicher wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon darauf!!!

Einmalige Lage (mehr Natur, Ausblick und Ruhe geht nicht), unglaublich liebenswertes und aufmerksames Personal, aber definitiv nichts für dumme Massen-Touristen, sondern eher für genießende Individualisten. Wer so dumme Dinge wie einen Fernseher im Zimmer sucht ist hier definitiv fehl am Platz, auch laute oder spießige Leute sollten dieses Hotel meiden. Wer übertrieben restaurierte Häuser, klinisch perfekte und langweilige Standards sucht, ist hier falsch. Dieses Haus ist sehr alt, dabei gepflegt und sauber. Die geschmackvolle Kombination von Antiquitäten, liebevoller Innenarchitektur und frischen Blumen tun ihr übriges. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt, möglichst bald wiederzukommen. Danke!

Wunderschöne, altmodische Villa in schöner, ländlicher Umgebung. Einrichtung wie vor 100 Jahren. Die meisten Zimmer haben eine wunderbare Aussicht. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig. Der riesige Garten bietet viel Möglichkeit zur Entspannung. Wenn auf Bestellung ein Abendessen angeboten wird, ist es sehr romantisch und mit lokalen Spezialitäten. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kein Hotelbetrieb, ist als b&b geführt. Nachtessen muss bestellt werden, wird nicht immer angeboten. Frühstück ist eher bescheiden. (Kein Käse, kein Fleisch...) Zufahrt schwierig zu finden, viele grosse Löcher im Strassenbelag.

Spacious, nicely decorated rooms, a huge garden which is a cool place on a hot summer day; in sum: a great place to relax. In this respect, the absence of a tv set (etc.) is not a minus. The hotel is extremely difficult to find. Do not trust the map you get from Booking.com with your reservation email; it's wrong! We found our way to the hotel thanks to a group of local people, and even with their indications it was not easy (sign posts are in urgent need of reposing!)

Il panorama e la collocazione nel verde della struttura. La strada per arrivare è pessima e non c'è nessuna informazione in merito sul sito. Il ristorante non è in funzione e data la collocazione è estremamente scomodo raggiungere altri ristoranti..Probabilmente eravamo gli unici ospiti della struttura e a causa di quanto sopra ci siamo fermati solo una notte.
