Villa Sonnino  

An excellent stay - we were treated like royalty! Our room was beautiful, more of a suite than a hotel room. A complimentary bottle of spumante was waiting for us. Four friends staying near by joined us for dinner. As they arrived a couple of hours early, a special table and chairs were brought into the garden, where we were served plates of fresh fruit, Italian biscuits, and savouries. Our gourmet dinner was exceptional - we would have paid a small fortune in London to eat like that. The buffet breakfast was a feast of fresh fruits, cold meats and cheeses, etc and Italian cakes! The staff and service were impeccable. They couldn't do enough for us - from picking us up us at the station, making us feel so comfortable in a very grand building, the helpful service at dinner, to ensuring we had our train tickets back to Pisa the next day. All of this was done as if nothing was too much trouble. I understand the Director has worked at the Savoy in London. It shows - everything was of comfort and class for us as visitors. We would highly recommend it, and will be back (hopefully next year)!

Lovely villa and property, very helpful and attentive staff, a large, attractive, and comfortable room, and excellent food and service in the restaurant even though it was late on the evening of Easter and the eve of a national holiday. A real find at a reasonable price. We stayed here overnight on our way from Florence to Pisa for our flight the next morning and the location was very convenient for us.

Le calme,le cadre et la discretion des employes

Es un hotel espectacular para el precio ofrecido. Nos pusieron una botella de champan de bienvenida. La habitación era muy espaciosa, con un baño enorme. Las instalaciones comunes están magníficamente decoradas, y el entorno es magnífico. La atención, también excelente.

Por poner algún pero, el hotel está en una zona poco turística, quedando algo aislado.

Solo hemos estado una noche pues ibamos hacia San Gimigniano, pero si podemos volver seguro que estaremos mas tiempo.

Hotel de charme dans une villa italienne de caractere ,situation geographique exceptionnel ,personnel a l'ecoute , restauration de grande qualité pour un prix raisonnable ,Superbe.

In 1 woord, fantastisch. De locatie, de verzorging, de service en de vriendelijkheid. Alles was perfect. Het ontbijt was uitstekend. Alles in een zeer fraaie villa/landhuis op een heuvel. Hier verblijf je met een heerlijk luxe gevoel. Zonder twijfel kom ik hier terug. No doubt, we will return there once.

Ottimo per soggiorni rilassanti, o anche per convention. Bellissima la posizione lontana dal traffico e quindi rilassante. Hotel di classe curato in tutti I dettagli, personale molto disponibile, colazione abbondante e vasta scelta.

Hotel grandiose du 16ème siècle, propre, bien équipé. Le personnel est dévoué, on se croirait hote de marque invité à un chateau. Le cuisinier a du talent, on mange dans une magestueuse salle voutée en pierre une excellente cuisine pour un prix modeste. Le vin de la propriété est servi très jeune, peu charpenté, il a un bon nez. N'hésitez pas à choisir la chambre confort, et passez un séjour de rêve.
