The Villa Spalletti was a fantastic place to stay while in Rome. It is in a convenient, central location and provides the comforts and elegance of an estate home- with lots of extra touches. We will definitely be back to stay here for a longer period of time. The hotel did a great job or pre-arranging tours for us which worked out perfectly for the limited time we had. We only had a two day stay in Rome and Villa Spalletti and wish it was more!
The only area for improvement is making sure you get recommendations for places to eat locally while in the area. Rome is overwhelming in terms of food options and asking the front desk for specific places within walking distance on the Villa would have helped us. We asked for suggestions, but didn't get specific names of restaurants, only areas to try. Otherwise our stay was perfect!
Everyone was so accommodating from the moment we walked through the door! We travelled a lot through Italy and our stay at Villa Spalletti Trivelli is our most memorable! It's truly a palace and you definitly feel like royalty.
Nothing not to like!
Staff -- Each and Everyone! Kind, helpful, truly YOU-centric, amazing. Decor, cleanliness, immaculate condition, ambience. Wi-Fi, complimentary mini-bars, kitchen, comfort/intimacy, friendliness. GRAZIE!
Can't think of anything!
Stunning villa which felt like home for the few days we were there - amazing place with lovely staff and fantastic breakfast
Nothing - was fantastic
This hotel is absolutely amazing!! They pay attention to every detail- making guests feel truly attended to. The decor is lovely- I felt like it was the perfect extension of all of the museums we were visiting in Rome. Yet, it wasn't "sterile" - it was tasteful and inviting. Te breakfast was wonderful- everything you could want and more. The staff went above and beyond in every way possible. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful place. My only regret is that we could only stay for 3 days. It was truly difficult to leave
Friendly and helpful staff. Great location and lovely hotel. Would definitely go back.
Fabulous location that is walking distance to most of Rome's attractions. Great staff and the rooms were beautiful. Breakfast was excellent and this felt like we were staying in our own private Villa which is not far from the truth. We only saw 3 other couples very briefly at breakfast during our 6 day stay which added to the special stay. We will stay here again the next time we visit Rome!
Water could be hotter in the tub.
The breakfast was great!
There was no Staff in the Spa,i felt a bit lost.
Historic building maintained to a high standard and very comfortable.
Complimentary bar but the tea drinker has to pay.
Excellent breakfast Decor and ambience
Lack of kettle, tea/coffee facilities in bedroom 30 euros for tea to be brought to your room!! Too costly. No ironing facilities yet again a cost making exercise. Expensive hotel therefore should be full of character and helpfulness from staff. Needed light music in lobby and downstairs rooms to enable private conversation More English papers and staff should ask if you need anything - not the client asking for everything.
I wanted to make a Birthday Surprise to my husband and this was the most charming place to be in this occasions. Staff was very professional .They brought a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room and made our celebration special. The location of the Hotel is the best, close to Trevi Fountain and every other Rome attractions. We loved the fireplace and wine tasting. Everything was superb!
We had two days in Rome and this was the perfect hotel for it. Location: Less than a 10 minute walk to Trevi Fountain. We were able to easily walk to the Coliseum/Roman Forum, Spanish Steps and Pantheon (and take the hop-on, hop-off bus to the Vatican). We were even able to see most sites both during the day and at night (Coliseum and Trevi are especially impressive at night). The shopping and restaurants near Trevi Fountain were great. We especially liked being able to site-see during the day, walk back to the hotel for a couple hours and then go back out to eat dinner. Safe: The neighborhood is in the middle of embassy district and very safe. Amenities: The fireplace and the open bar were nice for a nightcap. Room had plenty of space.
It was a little pricey, but worth the money if you want to make the most out of a short time in Rome.
The whole experience was fantastic. We felt as thought we were exclusive, within the luxurious estate, and could not fault the prompt assistance from the staff. The breakfast was superb. Recommendations by staff , including bookings for restaurants were also well managed. Our room was a Palatial size bedroom and ensuite complete with deep bath. 24 hour concierge was also a secure comfort. Highly recommended for a stay.
Everything was wonderful. The physical plant was beautiful and expertly maintained, and the staff were exceptional.
