Beautiful views and the villa.
Beautiful place, but no atmosphere (not cosy). Very expensive to have dinner at the villa, which leaves you with the only option to drive to the nearby city.
Exceptional staff Beautiful location Amazing food
No air conditioning and no mosquito nets. So couldn't open the windows at night.
Perfect view, friendly staff, great food... the wine they produce was also very good.
Very small bathroom in the economy room.
Villa Talente has excellent location as it is very close to Florence and to beautiful towns like San Gimignano. You need to have a car however if you wish to stay here. The view from the garden is excellent, and food is great. Service is excellent, you feel like you are at your Toscan friends home and he is willing to give you anything you want.
Only negative is the room and bathroom quality which I think should be much better in a place like this, but if you dont expect too much you wont be disappointed.
Amazing staff. Wonderful food. Great location. Stunning views.
We loved the staff at Villa Talente who really did everything they could to make our holiday worthwhile. Also...try the food!!!! The best food in Italy! We had to eat in over and over again. Beautiful place to stay and perfect base for either relaxing by the pool or exploring other areas
This is no fault of the villa's but the location is a fair drive from the nearest village so if you want to sample the fine wines of Italy you have to take it in turns driving as there's no taxis and it's too far to walk.
Nice location with nice view of the landscape during breakfast.
-The Villa is really lovely and they were very accomodating as we arrived earlier than the required checked-in time. -Dinner was excellent and my kids were very aggreable because they really enjoyed it. My kids were very vocal if they do/dont like the food they were eating. -The villa location was good if you wanted to explore Tuscany area. -All in all me and my family had a really great time during our stay and Giovanni and the other staff are really friendly and very accomodating.
everything was excellent
very bad Wifi
the villa itself, quite, clean and not too big. The view. The kindness of the young staff.
The pool area should be enlarged

The room, location and facilitites were great. Really nice place to stay.
We were travelling as two separate couples with separate bookings. We received quite a bit of information before hand about the hotel's facilities but the other couple didn't. Had it not been for the emails the hotel sent us we wouldn't have been aware of the facilities available/on offer as when we arrived we were simply checked in and shown to our room and told nothing about the facilities.
A wonderful 14th villa stay. Ideal for relaxing by the pool, enjoying the beautiful view of the Tuscan hills and de-stressing. And only 30 minutes or so from the cities you may want to visit (Florence, Siena etc). Staff were great, breakfast and dinner on the terrace lovely.
Nothing - it was the best stay of the trip
It's a perfect place to spend a valuable time with the family. While kids were enjoying swimming in the pool in the morning, we were lounging, reading books and getting tanned. In the afternoon we were exploring the area- Florence, Chianti and San Gimigniano which are located quite close to Talente. The closest town- San Casciano val di Pesa has plenty of restaurants, shops and even playground for kids with the amazing view. In the evening we were tasting local wine at the villa enjoying spectacular sunset and watching starts at night. Kids were playing board games in the living room and looking for adventure in the amazing olive garden. In the places like that kids do not need a TV, computer games or Internet connection. We have spent an amazing time in Tuscany and will be back soon.
Amazing panoramic pool. Really well preserved Tuscan Villa. Feels like a rural palace. Big rooms. Lovely breakfast in the terrace with views. Ideal for a honeymoon or romantic weekend.
Their wine is ok but not over the chianti average. The dinner with sunset has amazing views and location but the price is a bit high for the amount/type of food included (at least the day we had dinner there).
Fantastic location overlooking typical Tuscan countryside of vines and olive trees. Beautiful infinity pool set in the perfect terraced garden setting. Stunning historic house - like staying in a palace. Beautiful big rooms and fantastic evening meals cooked by Andrea and his team.
the dinner.....too expensive and not enought.....
- Stunning view over the valley and perfect location to experience the Toscan live. Although located at a very quiet place, you never have to drive more than one hour to visit Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca, etc. - Staff speaks suffiently English, which is not always the case in Tuscany. - Breakfast was okay. You could find everything you need, but not more.
- Too bad we couldn't hang out at Vila Talenta for a whole day since you couldn't grab anything to bite at lunch time. Driving downtown was kind of a hassle if you were in for a lazy day. - The room was not clean as it should be. Lots of spiderwebs and dust everywhere. The cleaning lady even took some of or personal towels away... - Try to avoid the Cabarnet room. You don't get any view, except for the neighbor who can keep an eye at you all day. - Food at the restaurant is expensive for what you get. Very small plates. Our first dinner was very tasteful. The second time, the meat was too chewy and they haven't even asked the way I want it to be cooked. - It's a pity that everyone was showed around the beautiful villa and we only got our key.
Stunning location, friendly and helpful staff.
perhaps a few more deck chairs around the pool!!
Andrea was a great host!
The staff was welcoming and showed us around the beautiful villa. We enjoyed a quiet walk in the olive grove, a dip in the pool and a delicious dinner to end the day. The room was spacious, and had a spectacular view of the tuscan countryside. Early in the morning we watched several balloon float down the valley. Breakfast was plentiful and satisfying. We had a wonderful stay.
Wondeful romantic place with breathtaking view of Toscana countryside. The pool. Staff helpful and nice.
Location is fantastic - top of hill resort with full Florance panorama. 14-th century deco, self owned olive and grape land surrrounding, pool, wine and silent. Not necessary children place but ours liked it too as we trecked around the tombs. We will come back!!! Grazie St Dupont! (The owners)
Service is very friendly - if they are around. Sometimes you have to wait long ( I mean real long) for beeing able to find the waiter or the office. Italian tranquillo way if operation. No rush no problem:-)) not the best way to make income by the way...
The view was excellent and the breakfast was lovely with fresh cakes and croissants. The yoghurt was appreciated. Other guests were really friendly. The manager was a real character and his family were lovely. The food was really good but very expensive.
The little town where you would go for dinner was ok but not many choice of restaurants and a bit too far for me to drive at night. However if you are driving there are many others to find tucked away in the hills. There was no facilities for lunch at the hotel which would have been great if you didn't want to go anywhere like us.
It was brilliant apart from the room
The room was like a dormitory at school, very basic, no view, dark, poor shower, poor Wifi in room - just not good enough.
