Putting this in Canadian terms...Villa tre Ville is like powder snow on a bluebird day. You are set up for happiness and a sense of giddy anticipation for the rest of your day. It is All Good.
Exquisite and intimate elegance. We loved everything about Ville Tre Ville. It is discreet. It is exclusive. It has been so well thought out. Picked up at pier by GianCarlo in VTV's beautiful wooden speedboat (by far the nicest one you will see). The staff greet you at the shore immediately and handle luggage etc. As you are escorted up and up. You get a workout with cliff side stairs, and then an elevator, then you are personally and warmly greeted by Ferdinando. He greets every single guest. How many hoteliers can say that?! You can sit on the terrace and have a drink, nosh on some fruit or a sandwich (all free in the Club Lounge), check out all the yachts laid out like tinker toys on the crystal blue Mediterranean below you, then get escorted to your room (all named after famous Franco Zeffirelli movies, operas or characters...we stayed in "Carmen"). A huge bottle of ice cold Prosecco greeted us as they knew we were trying for weeks to get in the night before (our 30th anniversary). This is where you go to RELAX. VIlla Tre Ville IS A PLACE LIKE NO OTHER. Could you walk into your kitchen and talk to a Chef or the Sous Chef? You can and do daily here. The interaction with staff and guest is seamless and I have to think the staff must feel very respected and appreciated a a result. After only one night, we met so many great staff whose names I still remember! (Pasquale responded immediately to all my pre-stay enquiries; he also greeted us personally at the seashore upon arrival and walked us through the cliff side vegetable gardens. The beautiful and sunny Annalisa in Reception was outstanding in printing off reams of documents I needed, assisting us with town car transportation upon leaving and general directions. Danielle the Chef made amazing gnocchi. Giuseppe, GiaCarlo, they were all wanting to serve and make our stay memorable.) Dinner is a must if you like great food and service - including sommelier expertise.
