Awesome Wi-Fi The view from the window was amazing. The room was very big, and nice. This hotel is on a hill, making the view stunning. The bathroom was very accommodating. The beds were enormous.

The pillows were very hard and tough (not soft).

Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely views from our window. Quiet location. Big shower! There was a lift which was very helpful to get our luggage up to our room.

    it's quiet; nice view

mosquitoes; unhelpful staff (we tried to order a taxi via the reception); room for 4 was actually a double room with a very small and extremely uncomfortable extendable sofa

The villa is at nice location. The view from room was awesome. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed the place.

We hire the taxi from train station and the driver took us in wrong direction, but we manage at last to reach the villa.

Giulia is fantastic. So helpful and cheerful. Goes out of her way to help the guests. A real asset for the hotel.

Beds are a bit old and should be replaced in due course.

We were very satisfied with the hotel, it was our second time in it, it is perfect also as a starting position for one day visits to Toscana without having to circulate over or round Firenze. We hope to travel more and we are sure we will come to Villa Ambrosina again.

We think that breakfast can be offered with more diversity, integral bread, eggs, yogurt, fruit.

A quiet place overlooking Tavarnuze. Florence is seen in the distance. Peace at 7 km away from Florence. Very proffesional and helpful staff. The restaurant and its chef are remarkable.

Wi-Fi is possible to use only in public areas and did not work properly all the time.

It was the second time we stayed in Villa Ambrosina. The room is spacious and comfortable and we really liked the view from our room. The restaurant is excellent, with really good food and a variety of wines.

The breakfast is poor in variety and quality and it is charged extra, which makes it even worse..

Although not the most luxurious hotel in the world it is a more than adequate, comfortable 3-star hotel with much to recommend it. Great location with fine views across the scenery. Quiet. Excellent restaurant that I would highly recommend. Generally clean. Parking. Great Italian feel about the place. A very nice place. I'd definitely stay again. Close to Florence, and Pisa, Siena and much if Tuscany are all accessible.

The room (bathroom in particular) was beginning to look a bit tired. Breakfast was a bit plain but it is only 5 euros. I would have liked to have had a safe and fridge. The road up to the hotel is quite steep and may put some people off, but it's worth it. And don't rely on your SatNav - take a good map with you.

lovely views and setting; excellent restaurant next door; staff very helpful re buses to Florence(some every 15min,25min trip 4 singles less than 6 euros at supermarket by bus stop).

lacklustre breakfast, satnav could only find a very tricky access road, couldn't get wifi info to work.
