Beautiful view from the room Good location - close tó Florence and the highway Nice room
The location is fabulous but your GPS will get you only as far as it can go. From there, look for the peak of the mountain and rent an automatic transmission if you don't trust your manual skills. The slopes are sharp, quite sharp. the hotel is nice, the view is great. The breakfast is good and the stuff is friendly. If yur room is in the amendment part, it will be a bit disappointing, however quite cheap. Easy access to the bust station (with your car) to park it and take ghe bus to Florence. Try the restaurant in the neighborhood for a good beefsteak a-la- Florentine. The stuff will give you direction.
The rooms in the amended part were quite basic.
The stuff was very informative and nice. The view is beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable.
There's only one bus from Tavarnuze to Florence and it takes around 30 minutes to get close to Florence and even not to the center... To reach the bus station, you must take your car or taxi.
Ve stayed in main building, atmosfaire, view, room, bath, breakfast. Good for the money.
The smell of all towel and liniment.
We came to villa ambrosina quite late, considering the time our best guess was that hotel will be close. However, old gentleman (receptionist) had rooms prepared and he was waiting for our arrival. Rooms are very nice as well as the bathroom. Clean, friendly, comfy, everything you need is here. There is a good restaurant cca 10m away from hotel.
Travel to the hotel is quite difficult, it is on the top of the hill. We had small difficulties finding it.
Nice friendly atmosphere clean rooms and nice restaurant not to mention a grest view and only 10 minutes from Florence worth a stay
nice view over the valley the breakfast was oke but not very special
the curtains were to small so the room was not dark enough
Awesome Wi-Fi The view from the window was amazing. The room was very big, and nice. This hotel is on a hill, making the view stunning. The bathroom was very accommodating. The beds were enormous.
The pillows were very hard and tough (not soft).
Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely views from our window. Quiet location. Big shower! There was a lift which was very helpful to get our luggage up to our room.
it's quiet; nice view
mosquitoes; unhelpful staff (we tried to order a taxi via the reception); room for 4 was actually a double room with a very small and extremely uncomfortable extendable sofa
The villa is at nice location. The view from room was awesome. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed the place.
We hire the taxi from train station and the driver took us in wrong direction, but we manage at last to reach the villa.
nice view and price was really reasonable with breakfast too.
if you open the window there might be mosquito so probably want to prepare repellant
The hotel was old and not well kept.
Giulia is fantastic. So helpful and cheerful. Goes out of her way to help the guests. A real asset for the hotel.
Beds are a bit old and should be replaced in due course.
Rooms. Staff excellent. Nice breakfast.
quant and comfy - the view from #203 was awesome!!!
it was all good
We were very satisfied with the hotel, it was our second time in it, it is perfect also as a starting position for one day visits to Toscana without having to circulate over or round Firenze. We hope to travel more and we are sure we will come to Villa Ambrosina again.
We think that breakfast can be offered with more diversity, integral bread, eggs, yogurt, fruit.
