Villa Angelica  

This hotel is a huge scam. I would not recommend to anyone! I booked this hotel as a surprise to the 30 years of my fiancé. I chose this hotel for its price more reasonable than most hotels in Venice or Lido. But this hotel is still expensive, not far from 100 euros per night. What a disappointment! First, the reception was almost non-existent. The woman who received us when we arrived did not speak a word of English and was very rude. Moreover, when we asked her a good restaurant at the Lido, she gave us a wrong indication. Most of the time, there was nobody at the reception. We booked several hotels in Italy, but this hotel is the only one that has taken the total 4 nights at time of booking on the website. On top of that, they charged us an extra tax on the evening of our arrival (18 euros for 2 persons and 4 nights)! The last day they refused to keep our luggage in the hotel so that we could enjoy Venice without having to bear them. The pictures on the website of the hotel are misleading, and we were very disappointed with the state of our room: Very unpleasant smell, Stains on the covers and sheets when we arrived, The bodies of dead insects on the wall of the room, Daily cleaning of the room was minimal: sheets unchanged… The breakfast was awful and frugal: chemical orange juice, cold coffee, uneatable bread.. We had only one desire: to leave the room as soon as possible! Finally we had both been bitten by spiders, which was very unpleasant. All this at nearly 100 euros per night!

Very friendly atmosphere, very quiet; close to Lido Vaporetto terminal, so great place to explore Venice without the need to suffer hotel there; close to the beach too. Hotel also rents bicycles fo 5 euro a day, great way to move around Lido.

One side-effect of Villa being a villa: if you want your room cleaned - you have to be out by 11:00 am, the place is small, so the cleaning staff is small too; not a big deal in my books.

Location is nice - especially in summer I suppose. Room was large and quiet

Just be careful that it is not an hotel, so there is nobody at the reception when the hotel is full, everybody has its own key and is independant. Thus you can not leave your luggage the day after cheching out, and there is no facilities as soon as you give your key back.

Nice place, a lot of flowers, plants around... not so far from vaporoni station. 15 mins and your arein the center of Venice.

Inget. Känner mig lurad. Hotellet hade vid bokningen hos Er uppgett att de hade mellan 3-4 stjärnor men I verkligheten hade de endast en stjärna.Helt bedrövligt.

Se ovan. Katastrof dåligt ställe. Jag kan inte kalla det hotell. En stjärna visade det sig vara I verkligen. Vi blev skickade till ett annat ställe hotell valparasio men det visade sig I stort vara en villa långt ut från centrum, Jag bet för 3-4 stjärnor men här kom vi inte till ett hotell utan en villa. Inga utrymmen att röra sig . Hotell valparasio har samma ägare som villa angelica och du får inte alls det värde för det du betalar.Grundlurad.Jag har bokat många hotell genm er saijt men aldrig råkat ut för ngt sådant här.

Die Villa Angelica liegt für Aüsflüge mit dem Bus oder dem Vaporetto sehr güstig. Auch die Einkaufstrasse ist gleich um die Ecke und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Das Zimmer Magerritha sowie das Bad und die Dusche waren für venezianische Verhältnisse eher groß. Bei der Reservierung wird auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen. Das Frühstück bekommt man bei Schlechtwetter (wir waren Anfang Dezember am Lido) auf´s Zimmer (es gibt keinen Speisesahl).

Es mag für viele als banal gelten, aber es gigt Menschen, die haben manchmal das Bedürfniss, sich am Abend für ein paar Minuten vor den Fernseher zu setzen und Nachrichten zu sehen. Geht leider nicht, da bei mehr als 40 Programmsennder kein Deutschsprachiger war.

Essendo in tre fare colazione in camera è stato un po' difficile per il poco spazio a disposizione

Lage nah bei Venedig-Zentrum Erschwinglich gemessen an der Lage Ruhig gelegen, nicht so großes Haus, kein Massenbetrieb

Wir konntenals zwei Familien (2 Dreibettzimmer) leider im Oktober nicht zusammen frühstücken, kein Frühstücksraum innen. Atmosphäre bisschen unpersönlich durch wechselndes Personal, keine "Seele des Hauses". Einiges an der Einrichtung nicht so ganz funktionstüchtig.

Достаточно удобное месторасположение. Пляж в нескольких минутах ходьбы от отеля. Остановка вапоретто приблизительно в 10 минутах ходьбы. Приятный завтрак, накрывают на улице. Хорошее соотношение цены и качества.

В комнате на 3 с extra bed было очень мало места.

Chambre très spatieuse ,hotel très calme et très accueillant.tres bien situé (plage à 5mn a pied) bon petit dejeuner avec fruits frais de saison (melon, pasteque ) la personne qui noua a accueilli le dimanche etait particulierement gentille et sympatique .elle nous a indique des visistes sans touristes sur venise (rare!) restos parkings, lignes de vaporettos. On reviendra

Le gros point noir : les moustiques tigres ! le petit dej dans un tres joli jardin s'est transformé en cauchemar.il faudrait s'equiper en citronnelle!!!!

Certainement une ancienne maison de Maître, jardin très agréable pour le petit déjeuner accueil de qualité. L'équipe est très sympa et parle plusieurs langues. Situé juste à côté de la plage. Attention il est nécessaire de prendre le Vaporetto pour aller dans la ville ce qui au bout d'une semaine peut revenir cher. Prendre absolument un pass sur Internet - Minimum 7 jours avant le départ
