Gorgeous facilities, manicured lawns with lots of flowers, overlooking Tuscan vineyards..... We'll be back...Wonderful, helpful staff ... Excellent breakfast... No restaurant... Out of season, but staff made reservations nearby... Access road is gravel for 1km. |

The staff was very kind and helpful, and it is a very nice facility. We did not realize the hotel was not in Radda -- it is 5 miles from Radda -- we did not have a car, so this was a problem for us. It cost us between 40 to 60 Euros just to get to a restaurant. |

surroundings, nature Airco was broken and leaked water in the room, electronic keys did not work, pool was closed without notification for one morning, sink leaked liters of water per hour, dusting cloth found in bathroom, restaurant was closed, no night guard available |

This place run properly has lots of potential. Breakfast was well done and the room spacious and clean. Not enough signage. No sign saying reception this way. Sign should tell people to park here first then from there the signs should direct people to the reception counter. Also sign saying restaurant should be removed because there isnt one. Needs more information for guests. |

The staff were helpful and the grounds were lovely. It was interesting in that a hotel which classifies itself as five stars would: 1) have no staff on duty beyond 8 pm (we had trouble getting in to the hotel when we returned from dinner and there was no contact number for assistance. That would have been a serious issue had we not finally managed to enter the premises) and 2) inform us upon arriving that a "storm" had made the outdoor pool unusable and that it"would probably be fixed within a day." Both obvious falacies. There was only one other guest in the hotel, but this being July and the temperature was hovering around 90 degrees faranheit, a bit of a disservice to the guests. Additionally, with so many empty rooms we were surprised to be given a room above the bar/restaurant. |

The room was OK , very comfortable bed . Interesting decor . Small window made it quite dark in the room . Lovely views but difficult to see from the room . The terrace and the pool looked nice , but without comfortable furniture or the ability of staff to provide any kind of service not a place to have a relaxing time . There was no kitchen . This place is advertised as a classy retreat with lovely food and an interesting wine cellar . The pool and terrace are beautiful but are not set up for guests . So the only place to be is in your room . When we spoke to the Manageress she said we should not expect hot food as it was not a five star hotel and said that the reason for the closure was beyond her control . She was quite dismissive of our concerns . We then pointed out the road signs depicting five stars and their own advertising literature . It then transpired that the reason for no kitchen was that they have not hired any staff , so it is thier fault . We were very unhappy and so changed our hotel . Once the manageress realised her argument did not stand up to scrutiny she admitted it was misleading and said that she would contact Booking.com and change the advert . It will be intersting to see if that happens . |

This is truly a hidden gem. We were awed at the beauty of both the hotel and the site. Deborah, the manager was fantastic...so helpful, friendlly, and discrete. It would have been nice if there had been a restaurant available on site for dinner. |

The hotel is really nice, actually better than what shows from the pictures. It is set in a beautiful and peaceful location, and yet within easy reach of several nice Tuscany towns and wineries. The room was big with a huge and very comfortable bed, and the premises were high standard. Great pool, great spa, good breakfast. The hotel manager is an arrogant woman who tried and insisted on cheating us into paying extra for a baby cot, although it was clearly specified in the booking conditions that there was no extra charge for that. Despite her, the rest of the staff was good and friendly. |

Virtually everything was just perfect. Such a wonderful location, and friendly welcome from Deborah and her team - it really was very difficult to leave! The accommodation was immaculate and stunningly beautiful, as was the breakfast, snacks etc. So peaceful - a great place. |

The informative staff gave information on the nearby vineyards and restaurants and called to make a reservation for us (free of charge.) The spa space and emotional showers were a nice surprise. Beautiful surroundings, facilities and amazing bathroom. Private and gorgeous. One staff member was reluctant to set up a table for us outside in the morning even though it had been offered to us. |

Malgré la surprise d'être seuls clients dans cette grande maison (mi- octobre, c'est la fin de saison pour eux), nous avons été très bien accueillis, le spa était accessible, le ptt déj copieux... Ce doit être magique en pleine saison quand on peut aussi profiter de la piscine et de magnifiques balades ! |

Excellente trouvaille que cet hôtel : en fonction depuis 1 an, cet ancien domaine est devenu un superbe hôtel avec de magnifiques chambres très bien décorées, confortables. Petits déjeuners sur une terrasse accueillante, très bien servis. Grande et belle piscine. Bref un endroit que l'on a du mal à quitter. |
