The establishment boasts an elegant, comfortable, friendly atmosphere that you will simply cherish throughout your Venetian stay. Whether you are going to spend your days visiting the artistic beauties of Venice or enjoying the sandy beaches of Lido, the hotel will provide relaxing moments.

Located in a quiet residential area of Lido, the hotel is only 200 metres from the vaporetto (water bus) station to and from Saint Mark’s Square, reachable day and night in a pleasant 15 minutes’ trip.

Villa Casanova is a typical 1930s villa, refurbished combining the ancient Chinese practice of Feng-Shui with modern principles of bio-architecture and engineering. As a result the establishment offers high-quality, environmentally friendly and safe accommodation.

Food & beverage

A rich breakfast buffet with a choice of organic products is served in the summer in the graceful garden of the Villa.

Room information

Villa Casanova offers bright, elegant and peaceful rooms; those set on the mansard floor overlook the garden. All rooms have en suite bathroom, are furnished in walnut wood and feature handmade iron beds, decorated in accordance with Venetian textiles.

On the mansard and upper floors, the ancient wood pavements and roof timbers have been treated with natural oil, as were all of the house's windows.

Easy access to main sites of Venice and the vaporetto to the other islands. Bars and restaurants a 5 minutes walk away but situated in a peaceful side street with no traffic noise. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

Vor allem die ruhige Lage, die entspannte, freundliche Atmosphäre im Haus, das für Italien wirklich vielseitige Frühstück und endlich mal keine weichgespülten Handtücher! Die kostenfreie Benutzung der Fahrräder ist ebenfalls ein Pluspunkt.

Einen Rechner oder Laptop zur Internetnutzung gab es nicht.

Hotellin seinät tosi ohuet, äänet kuuluvat melko hyvin läpi. Lattiat paikoin painuneet ja natisevat kovin; naapureiden liikkeet kuuluvat tosi hyvin. Korvatulpat mukaan huonolle nukkujalle, tästä on tarpeeksi suuri apu!
