Villa Casanova is a typical 1930s villa, refurbished combining the ancient Chinese practice of Feng-Shui with modern principles of bio-architecture and engineering. As a result the establishment offers high-quality, environmentally friendly and safe accommodation.
It is mandatory to inform the hotel about correct time of arrival at the hotel.
Food & beverage
A rich breakfast buffet with a choice of organic products is served in the summer in the graceful garden of the Villa.
Room information
Villa Casanova offers bright, elegant and peaceful rooms; those set on the mansard floor overlook the garden. All rooms have en suite bathroom, are furnished in walnut wood and feature handmade iron beds, decorated in accordance with Venetian textiles.
On the mansard and upper floors, the ancient wood pavements and roof timbers have been treated with natural oil, as were all of the house's windows.
Travel information
If you arrive by train, your starting point is the S. Lucia railway station. The vaporetto (water bus) number one stop is just outside the station. It takes you on a ride through the Grand Canal lasting about 55 minutes. The number 51 follows a more direct to route to the Lido.
If you arrive by car, take a ferry boat directly to the Lido. It leaves every 35 minutes from the Tronchetto area.
It is very easy to reach the villa from Marco Polo Airport with the Alilaguna water shuttle which takes 55 minutes to reach Lido.
When you arrive in Treviso Airport, there is a bus shuttle from there to
Venice, Piazzale Roma (about 50 minutes). When you are in Piazzale Roma, take the vaporetto number 51 as above.
