The location is nice, close to the train station. Monterosso itself is not very large so this is also close to the strip of beach, the old town and the ferries/trails to the other towns in the Cinque Terre.

The beds were very hard and the pillows very flat, and because the floors were made of tile, the room had the feel of a beach house.

Not much, it was clean & a good location

The room was so small, probably smallest "double" I have ever had - Double bed in corner so access for one person very poor - There was a fridge in room, but you could not open door, because of bed side table in the way. - TV screen was partly obscured by top of wardrobe, when lying on bed Internet was unavailable for the duration of our stay This is not a cheap hotel & probably the worst value I have ever encountered.- This was really a single room -

Wonderful, large balcony. My mother and I enjoyed the beautiful view of the sea and mountains. Very clean and well-maintained with massage jets in the shower. Very friendly staff and a lovely breakfast spread in the morning.

Delightful hotel, clean crisp and well decorated. We had Room 9 on the second floor which is high enough to see over the pine trees (Room 10 & 11 also ok). To give you and idea of the view, we could see 4 of the Cinque Terra. A large corner room with large balcony, six windows with remote control electric shades and the most complicated shower sauna I’ve ever seen (instructions were included). Free wifi worked in the room even though the hotel says only in public rooms. You need a user number and password from the front desk of each of your devices. Large parking lot across from hotel at 15 euros per day. Fully controllable a/c, cnn, mini-bar, safe, everything you need, with breakfast included. A bit difficult to find if driving. Coming down the hill make sure you take the right fork. We went left and ended up in the old town pedestrian only street, of course I drove right in…ugly Americans. When you do get to the new town Google maps says look left for the hotel but it is on the right.

Everything was really great: staff, room, location, etc....except the wifi

The wifi was unacceptable most of my stay. This may have been just a freak occurrence and not the norm, but it really created a hassle for me since I had no phone in Italy.

It's location was ideal. The breakfast evceeded our expectations, especially when Enrico was managing. The maid service was very accommodating. The staff assisted us with our train travel as well!

Internet access was intermittent and the walls were thin allowing noise to be transparent between rooms. Our room was excellent but somewhat misleading in that we were upgraded to a balcony room with ocean front, however, there were trees which blocked any view of the water from our balcony-very misleading!

Internet was not available in rooms and they had a very poor log-in system to provide access. On an iPad, you lost the connection every time the screen went blank so you had to repeat the log in process pretty frequently. If they had in-room functioning wifi, I would have given the the highest possible marks acros the board.

The hotel is lovely! Seated on prime location, just 50 meters from the beach of Monterosso. Same time is bit far from the crowd of people coming and going from the railway station in the center of the new town. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and neat rooms! The breakfast was wanderful! I'd love to come back!

Slightly tight room

The hotel is really close to Monterosso Train Station - less than 5 minutes walk.

We found the reception staff and cleaning staff particularly helpful and friendly. It was great to have a lift that worked! One the second day we were offered an upgrade at no extra charge. We were very grateful. Enrico went out of his way to help us with our train booking. We loved the comfortable sit-out area in front of the villa as well as on the rooftop.

Location was exceptional and hotel was perfect in cleanliness. The roof top area was beautiful to lounge and have a evening drink or morning java. For the location the price was reasonable.

Location was very accessible from the train station, literally a five minute walk. Is in the quieter part of the new town which is away from the cafes-bar. Staff were very friendly, helpful, their english was quite good. It ticked all the boxes, air conditioning, a lift (very important when carrying heavy suitcases) and location. We had a lovely little balcony to sit and watch the world go by.

Only wish list is that the wifi is available in your room, you could only access from the ground floor, sometimes only up to 8pm other days it was available all day.

I loved the location, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt like I was staying with family rather than a hotel. Will recommend Affittacamere La Villa Degli Argentieri to all my family and friends.

Rachel and I only stayed two nights on our way to Cortona, we had a great time the hotel was convenient two everything. The young man by the name of Daniel is the one that deserves all the credit for this hotel he was fantastic in helping us with directions, trains, restaurants, etc. What ever you are paying him for this service it should be more he is an employee that you would not want to loose. the staff were great. very helpful and friendly.

The staff was polite. The location was very convenient to the beach and the train station. The room was very clean and breakfast was traditional European.

There is a balcony, however, it is directly above the children's playground which was very loud into the late evening. It would be perfect if you have little children because you could see them in the park from the balcony but if you are looking for a quiet, romantic spot, you might not want a room facing the beach.

The location is phenomenal. It is right in the heart of the Monterosso walk way. With the beautiful waters just a minute walk away and bars and restruaunts on the same street is a perfect place to stay in Monterosso.

The WiFi only works on the first floor. This isn't a big deal but it is an easily solvable problem.
