Location and great wifi
The sea view is a little obstructed by the over grown trees
The location was excellent and the car park was right in front of the hotel. We had a room with a sea view and a balcony which was nice.
The room was very small but probably typical for the area. Didn't spend much time in the room so didn't matter that much.
Fabulous spot on beach perfect place to base yourself for cinque terra plus added bonus of old village as another eating option..
Breakfast was not up to standard expected.
our small room
Very charming hotel with excellent service and welcoming staff ready to provide advice to customers. We got very nice tips on visits and restaurants in the region. Besides, the hotel has no problems with pets and breakfast is classical but very good.
The room was a bit pricy but I guess this is normal for late booking for the 15/8 ferragosto weekend
Very well located in Monterrosso. Close to beach but far enough away that it is quiet. Also has big shady trees in front which help keep it cool and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and good. Staff is helpful and kind.
Located close to train station, opposite the sea, with an easy walk to the hotel.
Tiny bedroom that was supposed to be a triple share. Hotel needs a major overhaul as room furnishings straight out of the seventies. Breakfast very disappointing.
I loved to stay there. I would stay there again if I come back to Monterosso.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and they all spoke English very well. The rooms were clean and well equipped. If you can afford one with a balcony they are well worth it. Great location.
Location - excellent staff - amazingly clean!!
Perfect location for exploring the area. Staff was very helpful and room was immaculate.
We liked the location. It was on the main road but a bit farther from the train station so it seemed quieter than being so close. Not far...maybe 3 min walk. But view is overlooking the trees, and the ocean view. Liked the room, and bathroom...upgraded. And the staff was very responsive, and friendly!
Strong cleaning fluid was used and we were early to check in..had to air the room out for the rest of the afternoon.
The rooms were clean. Breakfast was okay- ham, cheese, croissant etc
We reserved 9 months prior for a room on the first or second floor. We requested rooms without the pine tree obstruction and reconfirmed a week before arrival. We had seen the horrible small room on floor zero(more of a renovated closet) and wanted to be assured we did not get that room! When we arrived we were told they were " booked up" and indeed put us in the single room on the first floor, stating they would " upgrade" us the next day to the room we originally paid for! They kept showing us the current higher rates than we paid 9 months earlier, stating we were getting a discount. Our invoice clearly stated floors 1 or 2. The attitude was " well what are you going to do about it"! All CT was booked up so we were at their mercy, such as it was. Obviously someone booked a night at the now higher rate and they downgraded us. I would not stay here unless you are prepared to pay for a suite and are ok with being put in a closet. It was so unpleasant an experience we could hardly enjoy our stay in CT.
Perfect location. Best roof top terrace view. Great. IWW from room.
The location is perfect. We only booked for two nights. First night was interesting as they only have a single bed available but the next day we upgraded to a king size bed. So we were a happy camper!! Good breakfast selection. Parking space close by you have to pay though. No problem for restaurants. The walked to the next town was very pleasant.
Very little - given what we paid for night!
Affittacamere La Villa Degli Argentieri - never again - way too expensive for location, quality of room and lack of view - give it a miss!!! We specifically booked this hotel as it promised us views of the Cinque terre - instead the only views available was of the overgrown pine tree and glimpses of the car park. The double room cost us 285 euros. In our opinion way over priced! Although clean - the bathroom had a very heavy smell of metho - to the point that you could not use it for too long with the door closer without your eyes watering. The toilet was literally under the hand basin and the entire room was micro in size. The deco - walk back in time to the 70's without any class... The power points were not European so could not even re charge our phones. When we called down for an iron were told none provided. Our best recommendation is keep looking.... This is not a place we would recommend nor reconsider - other than clean bed sheets nothing more positive to add. Not worth anything over 100 euros per night in peak in our opinion. Book as a last resort - and even then - buyer be ware!!!!
The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, the hotel was right by the water, and the view from the room was excellent.
Location was great, easy access from train station, just need to go down 1 flight of stairs & then walk a little on fairly flat road to reach hotel. Had room 10 on level 2 was great facing sea!
Wifi keeps having to login, intermittent. Signage could be better
Extremely helpful staff. Excellent location close to the beach. Nice rooftop.
Fairly pricy for this class of accommodation. But considering the amount of tourists in such a small village....
The front desk /concierge was very helpful with local knowledge and suggestions where to each sight see. When we had to change to change travel plans to a train, he researched our options on the internet, printed them out, and even walked us to the train station to buy tickets. Great location close to train station.
The location was the main positive. It sits right on the main street of Monterosso, overlooking the Ligurian Sea. Everything was convenient. It is small and quaint, but all necessary conveniences were available.
The location was great. Easy to get to from Monterosso station, walk out of station and turn right about 300 metres. We were in room 9 large room with large balcony, coffee shop next door, easy access to restraints and transport. Very good continental breakfast buffet.
The best location in monterosso! Very friendly and helpful straff. Good breakfast. We had a room with large balcony and beautiful view of the sea. Would absolutely recommend staying here!
The madrass on the beds were too hard and so were the pillows so we didn't sleep that well....
Wonderful staff. Sweet and clean little room for a single traveller
