Surrounded by Tuscan countryside, yet only 5 miles from central Florence, Hotel Villa Dei Bosconi features large grounds with a swimming pool with jacuzzi and terrace with bar service. Rooms at Villa Dei Bosconi are bright and air conditioned. They feature either a terrace or direct access to the grounds. Breakfast is buffet style at the villa and staff can recommend the most popular restaurants for other meals. The villa is located at the start of the hills of Fiesole and the surrounding area is ideal for trekking and cycling. There is a frequent bus service that takes you to Santa Maria Novella Train Station in Florence. On-site parking is free. Hotel Rooms: 21

The location is stunning, and the pool is welcoming. Everything, from the breakfast selection, to the size of the TV, to the bathroom accessories, to the communal areas, is decidedly spartan. I have visited Florence twice a year over the last 8 years to attend a trade show. This was the first time a hotel has completely refused to grant a late check-out (including my offer to pay a supplement), and after 2 days of hard work I was forced to vacate the room at 12:00 on the dot.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful, accomodating and provided excellent advice on where to park (yes, we drove) in Florence and how to get around. The hotel was spacious and relaxing. Fiesole was a really nice town with friendly people. We enjoyed being up in the hills, overlooking Firenze, and having the opportunity to drive further into the hills to see the countryside.

Beautiful location and very sirene environment. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms, lovely breakfast and shimmering pool. We will return any time.

The staff were fabulous - really helpful and very kind and speaking excellent English. They were really nice people too. The pool is lovely. Their recommendations for local restaurants were excellent. The air conditioning did not work very well in the room. The shower was pokey. The drinks options behind the bar were limited (e.g. no Italian beer, no diet coke, no lemonade). The breakfast was a bit flat - adequate but uninspiring and the bread and croisants were a bit stale.

The views are fantastic and the pool was great. The staff were friendly and had some good recommendations. It was a bit further out of the centre of Fiesole than I had expected. Bus services were few and far between and getting a taxi back from Fiesole (or where our friends were staying on the way out to San Domenica) was very difficult.

The staff were very knowledge and helpful - the hotel is quiet and I would recomend to my friends. You can get into the centre of Florence (Firenze) in 30 minutes or so, so you have the quietness of the countryside with wonderful views (except for the crickets), a really nice town square with excellent restaurants and you It can be a bit of a trek if you dont have your own transport and or youve missed the bus to from the hotel /fiesole

Very good location close to Fiesole and Firenze, though in the season the visitor may face some difficulties finding parking going for dinner in Fiesole. Very nice country and forrest surroundings and room view. Quite place, with a clean pool to enjoy and relax. Non-availability of dining in the hotel except for breakfast and limited use of the bar in the evening in spite of a nice terrace. Very small TV set in the room.

The views from the hotel were stunning looking out over Florence and the nearby hills. The swimming pool and general ambience were very good and relaxing. Rooms were quiet. Staff were very helpful. The telephone and the airconditioning did not always work.

Excellent location overlooking Florence. Pool was lovely. Staff were very helpful and their restaurant recommendations were great. WiFi was a but expensive at 5€ / hour. Especially as it could only we used in the reception area. It was not available in the rooms.

It was a clean, large room luxury accomodation. The owner is very stand offish does not answer questions..seemed to object when I used the computer although I had to pay by the hour to use the computer.

Staff gentile e disponibile, camera molto spaziosa e confortevole, colazione abbondante a buffet. Bella zona panoramica sulle colline. Consigliato Unica cosa negativa. Troppo lontana dal centro di Firenze, bisogna prendere 2 autobus per andare in centro (3 per la stazione), di cui uno, quello che fa il paese di Fiesole passa raramente, di sabato e domenica ancora meno, una volta ogni 2/3 ore. E dopo le 20 (18 festivi) non ci sono più autobus. Senza il bus ci sono più di 20 minuti a piedi dall'albergo al centro di Fiesole. Il bus dal centro di Fiesole al centro di Firenze sta sui 45 minuti, ha tantissime fermate. Totale per andare dall'albergo in stazione in autobus 1 ora e mezza...decisamente troppo. Il taxi Firenze - Fiesole mi ha detto un taxista che costa 20/25 euro

L'accueil, le confort des chambres et salle de bains, la vue panoramique Il nous plairait d'y séjourner à nouveau mais au printemps ou en septembre. Les soirées et les matins étaient frisquets sans chauffage !!!
