Hotel Villa Delle Palme  

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful and really tasty. It was easy to find from the vaporetto stop and a cheap option rather than staying in Venice itself. There were a couple of nice restaurants on the lido and a really good supermarket. The decoration was lovely and the atmosphere delightful. The rooftop tower was an added bonus.

There wasn't anything I didn't like, however the double room was fairly small, although big enough for our stay and the shower was quite small, luckily we are only little so it didn't bother us but it may be problematic for "larger" travellers.

I have stayed here often some years ago. I like the garden, the rooms, the location. It is quiet, since all other Venice is very loud. The price (off season) was excellent.

The room was excellent for the price, and the day staff was excellent. The breakfast was surprisingly good, including meats and cheeses and not just sweet rolls etc (Italian breakfast is typically only sweet rolls and coffee). We had to leave very early the second day and would have missed breakfast, but the concierge fixed us each a "to go" breakfast! Very helpful with luggage, etc. on our arrival. Our room was actually a mini-suite with two bedrooms - excellent since my mother was traveling with us and got her own room. The shower was small but adequate, and the towels were hung on a warmer - wonderful since the weather was cold and rainy! There is no elevator, which was a bit of a challenge as our room was in the basement, and the stairs have no handrail.

No one showed up for the night shift before our second night, and we therefore were unable to arrange a wake-up call. I'm sure we could have arranged for the call with the day concierge, but since they claim to have someone on staff until 11 pm we did not attempt to arrange for the wakeup call early in the day.

I liked the help we got from reception. The room was small but adequate and clean. The location was also good as it was only a short walk from the waterbus.

It was picture perfect with friendly staff and a stylish interior. A very comfortable and inviting environment.

The WiFi connection was weak and the room quite small, but it was the budget option so I can't complain.

The hotel location was excellent. Just a couple if minutes from the beach, restaurants and vaporetto. The staff were also warm and friendly.

Only a minor issue but the booking indicated free wifi but when we arrived it was €10 for the week.

Very helpful and friendly staff offering lots of advice. Nice quiet location but very close to the waterbus station and a nice stroll to the beach. Good quality bike hire available at reasonable price. Breakfast was good enough to start the day,good pot of coffee and friendly service. Room we had was small but fine and enough room, with a fridge however a bit more drawer space would have helped. Bathroom clean and water always hot with a change of towels on request. Nice views from the roof too (Hotel could make more of this feature). Nice spot in garden to relax.

Good place arrangement. Around hotels, recreation area. There is a parking for the car, but the crossing on the ferry and costs in one конц 45 euros. Cozy numbers, purely, silently, good breakfast.

Well what can I say other than what a little gem of a hotel. An oasis in the otherwise hussle and bussle that is Venice. It is perfect for the terminals for the buses and the vaporetto, only 5 minutes walk away and the same for the main area on Lido for all the shops and resturants. The staff are welcoming and can not do enough for you to make the stay perfect. Breakfasts are simple but are filling and always fresh. Would high recommend to all.

The shower is a little small and the hairdrier is a little lacking in power, but these seem very minor niggles that are far out weighed by the positives

First trip to Venice, found hotel on internet. We had no idea what Lido was, but price was right. Hotel was more like a B&B, very pretty and very convienient, easy to get to Venice, and a beautful area to walk in the evening. Our economy room was VERY Little, but we are not large people, so for us it was fine. Breakfast, was simple but nice, only objection, is they chg. extra for a second coffee, very silly, Would def. go back again.

If you have a large, vehicle, the parking is a little difficult, small space in courtyard of hotel.

There is nothing to complain about.

Very nice breakfast area-tastefully decorated. Breakfast food was delicious- a variety of sliced meats were offered as well as croissants that were served warm. Dry cereals were also included as well as hard boiled eggs. The family room that we booked included two separate rooms and was very quiet. The hotel was only about two blocks away from the vaporetto stop.

I did not like the fact that the desk clerk kept our passports during our stay. They should have just made copies of them and then returned them.
