Loved the terrace on the tin can... perfect spot enjoy a late night summer storm :-)
Cabin is dated .... a face lift would appease the lack of creature comforts.
Pros: beautiful location, close-ish to the amazing Sorrento and very peaceful! The site is opposite Vesuvius so prepare for stunning panoramic views.
Cons: help from staff was very minimal and it was hard to get to the site - the car transfer is very pricey - €95 for two one way!
Nearby camp beach. Quiet and nice place. Helpful staff.
Difficult walk to downtown.Walk around the road without pavement. Kind of dengerous on the busy road. Everyday the same food on breakfast without vegetables.
nice pool and private beach.
the appartments are very basic and i would not stay there again. breakfast was also very basic.
Great location with pool and private beach. Be warned, a lot of stairs to beach. Cabins are cute and have all the necessary facilities. Woman at reception was lovely and very helpful. Dinners were good and cheap. Easy walk into town.
Capri tour was very expensive for what it was. It's basically just transport you're paying for and a body ride around the island. Men at reception weren't very friendly or helpful but we just went to the girl if we needed anything she was lovely. Mosquito nets on windows would be good. All in all though a good place to stay, especially on a budget.
The view from our Chalet deck was fantastic and the walk down to the beach was also brilliant. We really loved Sorrento and sightseeing all around. Staying in Santafortunata was perfect for this type of holiday.
It may be an Italian thing, but I would have loved a kettle.
Peace away from Sorrento - the cabins were basic and simple but good value -- only comp paint was bed was a bit saggy . Great to be able to arrange a trip to Capri picking up at their sown beach- circling the Island and landing and collecting from the Marina Picilo away from the main tourist crowds
Superb views. The restaurant is brilliant value. The accommodation is very good for the money. Let's face it, you come here to use it as a base to explore the area and for that tit is fantastic. Absolutely loved the restaurant and the shuttle bus and public bus make travel to the town easy.
Don't try to walk to town when the bus is only 1 euro.
The view; the swimming in the sea; the detachment from Sorrento while near enough to access restaurants; access to the airport and Naples.
The pool is not very good for swimming, but excellent for families. The restauarant could provide a more vatied breakfast menu: some fruit perhaps: erzatz juice and cheese and processed meat is not up to standard
exac what we expected cheap accomodation in an expensive town great location for train and bus to naples and pompie only 4 euros return
taxi fare from town RIPOFF 20euros for 15 min walk
The village is very nice. The bed was not comfturble.
We was dissappointed that the beach was close and the wifi cost 4e for 24h but only for one device??!!!
We yed in the bungalow (aka trailer) with a beautiful view of the Med. There have pots/pans etc (no dish soap) so we cooked a large breakfast. The sheets were clean the trailer itself was old with a nice porch and area for the kids. Farm animals, playground were great. The beach was a cliff, no sand not safe for kids...okay for adults. Restaurant was good. Not too bad for a camping place.
Bathroom trailer was a bit dirty and stained.... unsafe to walk to the town but the bus is frequent.
The place is beautiful with a view off the sea and a private beach. The walk to the center is worth it, better than staying in the center.
Helpful staff. Relaxed place.
Local shop closes in the middle of the afternoon.
A beautiful place to stay among the olive bushes with superb views over the Bay and of Vesuvius. Well equipped cottage. Helpful staff. Very ample breakfast including ham and cheese. Free parking and bus at gate into Sorrento. We loved this place
You have use the bus going to Sorento. Not friendly staff in "restaurant".
I loved the quiet of the location. The bungalow was perfect and much better than I had expected. The public bus stopped just outside the gates of the facility which was very convenient.
The road walking into Sorrento is DANGEROUS! Many people were walking on it anyway in spite of the fact that is was very narrow and no shoulder to walk on. It was unnerving.
Staff tried to give us a different room to what we booked that was worth less than we paid. They took ages to check us in and talked in Italian about the room change thinking we couldn't understand. The beach was closed and we had to climb back up to reception at the top of the hill to ask them to open it. Then the same with the pool! Buses outside the place don't come when they're supposed to so be prepared to walk to town. The beds are uncomfortable and springy. Don't expect a good breakfast.
Location was great, access to beach and pool
Bed was horrible, cabin allowed sounds to come in direct, no A/c, no TV, internet not available throughout site. Breakfast was limited and crowed.
Our cabin had a good view of the water. There was a well stocked store on the premises (limited hours). Breakfast had some meat and cheese - not just pastry like other places in Italy. Did have tour boat to Capri from beach - went all the way around the island as well as 5 hours on land.
Did not get cabin we ordered. Restaurant was not open for dinner for first 2 nights - no reason given. Access to beach was closed first day - had to walk to office to find out choppy conditions made it unsafe but they couldn't be bothered to leave a small sign.
The view from our cabin was amazing - one of the best in Sorrento. It was a good location as it was only 15min walk to town. Would stay again.
The staff could have been friendlier and needing to wear swimming caps in the pool (which conveniently they sell) was a bit ridiculous.
very nice seaview from the terrace of our bungalow very kind staff bus stop just in front of the camping breakfast included
The complex was great, nice pool & a shop on-site. It was walkable into Sorrento but buses run regularly outside, you get a timetable when you arrive.
There was no air conditioning or even a fan. We had an ant issue and got seriously bitten by mosquito's due to the countryside location.
many greenery, good beach, beautiful views
The view was amazing from our bungalow at least. The breakfast was good. There is a bus right acRoss the street.. They offer a capri trip that sounded expensive so we didn't do it but after doing Capri on our own we realized it was a good deal.
No air conditioning. Access is a little difficult, you can't just pull up to your bungalow, you have to hike a little. The road driving in is narrow and a long ways down to some bungalows. We also got a random ant infestation in our car while parked...random.
