the location, right on the seaside
-extremely noisy, party all night long called "entertainment", we could not sleep at all -no clean sheets for ten days -very basic accommodation, shower not working properly, - no cleaning for ten days -very poor breakfast -houses very closed to each-other, we could hear the neighbor breathing
Location Staff working with children
Entering the room there was a mop and bucket and dustpan and broom next to the door. When I showered I knew why. No curtain on shower and bathroom floor became covered with 5cm of water with no where to flow out. It appears through out the site that the management give no thought to the comfort of their guests. I would advise making sure you pick up the receipt.
Very very old, it seems that there is no safety at all-the door can be easily opened. The shower is awful-all sand from your legs, body or smth else is over the floor of the barthroom. There is no place to wash your feet on the beach. The beach and the sea are dirty.
nice and quiet beach, the view over etna from the beach was simply breath taking <3 lovely breakfast, loved the little cute gecko :) , the cactuses, the cats, the sand and really really salty water. very nice and friendly staff :* we had a very nice 2 bed bungalow, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to do a bit of cooking and we loved playing cards on our terrace. we fully enjoyed the tranquility of the place but also the fact that we were able to play music whenever we felt like having a little party without nobody objecting to it :D regarding the location.. vil europeo it's a bit far from catania but we rented a car for a few days (parking was free) and there was a bus (going to catania city centre) stopping just in front of the vilagio very good location for visiting catania, siracuza, etna and taormina by car overall, was an amazing holiday :D thanku villagio europeo!
Staff was friendly and did what they could do with the limited options and facilities available on site
While located at a beautiful location, the facilities could be so much more maintained. A little paint and more cleaning would do already wonders there!
Room with direct access to the beach. Very short distance to the airport
Room was not clean. Very old furniture. It is more a fun and surfing resort for young people with low expectations. Restaurant: People seemed to be disturbed while watching TV.
Mainly the location
Right on the beach, umbrellas and lounges provided. Menu at the restaurant was excellent and prices very reasonable.
The location ... it is right on the beach ... so if you like to wake up to the sound of the sea then this place is perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful.
The place is a little run down and could do with some brightening up. The shop had little to offer for any type of self catering
outside room dirty
Studio bungalow with kitchen area and bathroom-unit had aircon and was a few steps away from the private beach which was clean and had free sun loungers.breakfast was basic but plenty and the stay was out of season so we had most of the facilities to ourselves which was great.Good food at the on-site restaurant, the owner was helpful and suggested dishes they had made that day so be warned the portions are huge but yummy:) be sure to try the carbonara and the villagio tuna salad along with a gin and tonic!
The drive down via kennedy is not what we expected but once you get to the site it is a hidden gem.Lots of resorts along this beach so lots of people walking up and down along the beach selling necklaces and touristy things along the beach-a firm no should do it though if not interested
the surroundings of the bungalow are very beautiful. Worth visiting however it is important to know exactly what you are paying for!!!
The description while booking is totally wrong, we were suppose to have a TV plasma and we didn't even have a small TV... the rooms were dirty
from all the stuff members there was only two who were helpful, the others talked to you as if they are doing you favor!!! Breakfast really really poor ... biscuits, dry bread, jam and butter, coffee, tea and milk, packed croissants, juice and water. If you wanted fresh croissant, cappuccino, ham or cheese you had to BUY them. the toilet net was broken so you could not open the toilet window as a lot of tiger mosquitoes live in the area!, the shower water is really slow and the beds are really uncomfortable.
Good beach, great Etna views, clean, location.
Bed too hard.
The bungalows where very close to the beach, I had to walk about 25meters from my door to the sand :) Lots of sunloungers at the beach and parasols, beach was just perfect! Public bus stop right in front of the hotel with buses operating every 15 minutes!
Nearly nobody who works there speaks any other language than Italian! 2 girls at the reception have good Enhlish, but god luck ordering some food or drinks in the bar! Animation + kids entertainment also only in Italian. Party until 12.30am every night! It was extremly loud, my daughter couldn't sleep at all.. Lots of Polish tourist who are again sooooo noisy! 10 of them meeting in one of the bungalows after the hotel party was finished to continue. The amount of rubbish, junk and dirt on the was to the hotel is unbelievable!
Stella and Franka from the reception are nice. The restaurant has good Sicilian dishes. Location near the beach is nice.
Is very basic, no luxuary at all. Management has no service attitude and are rude and impolite. They are not interested in non Italian speaking clients. Animation which is poor is only Italian. What is called simple bungalow is just a small very basic and tiny room. Internet facilities are poor ,wifi is not possible everywhere, we payed for it but had no wifi at our bungalow, tv in our bungalow was not possible, animation italian, so the evenings were a bit boring.
