Location Location Location Views of Florence delightfully appionted Florentine theme which felt like our very own private villa.

Everything! Excellent location with shuttle to town centre, magnificent view, beautiful room, friendly staff, excellent restaurant, good art exhibition, beautiful gardens with swimming pool!

The hotel is located with magnificent views over aflorence, and within easy walking distance to the center. The staff are customer service minded, and friendly yet not overly so. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom well kitted out with thoughtful details, and wonderful products. You feel safe, comfortable and warm in this hotel. I will certainly return, and recommend it to friends.

The 'fitness room' is in actual fact two machines at the top of a stairwell, so while you can get your spinning done it does not feel private, or necessarily dedicated to exercise.

Nice hotel and location, unfortunately guests are treated as 2nd class citizens. Probably the most incompetent hotel management in my memory.

Stayed for 3 nights. On the 1st day, Lounge was being used by photographers for baby products, so guests usage restricted. Offered free afternoon tea, no hot water for tea, no coffee, 1 cake and limited use of lounge area. On the last night, hotel decided to hold party within 10 meters of our room, loud music, people shouting, car doors opening and closing, used bottles being thrown around. Time around 12:30am. Call 24 hour service number - no answer. Call 2nd time - no answer. Leave room at 1:00am and start looking for hotel manager by walking through party. He is hiding in a back room. Promises to do something. Does nothing. Call 3rd time and he answers and finally says he shall turn music off. Meanwhile other party noises continue well into the night. Avoid this hotel as it is ruined by poor management

Excellent hotel: we stayed at the Romantic Room which provides a very large bed, nice furnishing, very large bathroom with all comforts. Very courteous staff. Found some complimentary grapes on the table.

Absolutely stunning location. Beautiful villa. Italians in general and the staff in particular are always very friendly and welcoming. Within walking distance to the city and the location next to the michalangelo piazza and the stunning location that is for photos make this an ideal venue to stay at. We were there a bit to early in the season to use the pool area but that would add a further dimension. The villa provides a shuttle service for those who dont want to walk or for whom the return leg which is uphill would be more taxing. You could choose to include breakfast or not. We found it easier and cheaper to walk up to the michalangelo piazza and buy a coffee and pastry for 4 euros. Stunning location for a morning coffee.

We were in the romantic villa which doesnt have the same panoramic views as the main building but is still very comfortable. These rooms were more compact but still very comfortable. However the wi-fi drops out in this second villa which is almost an annex type building separate to the main villa.

The location was wonderful and the pool, although not heated was inviting.

The staff was not consistent with information and for the most part pleasant but not very helpful.

Fantastic view over Florence and the staff was very helpful to help us sort out museum tickets during a busy weekend! Hotel is nice and deserve it's classification.

The restaurant inside room is bit of a cave... Would be nicer to serve diner in the veranda on the main terasse!...

A lovely location near to Michaelangelo Plazza, free parking. We were travelling all around Italy and this was the one place we did not get a view! Very disappointing--after a week of other hotels exceeding our expectations. The man at the check-in desk was rude and immediately turned us off. It seemed strange that free breakfast was not included as it was everywhere else we went. We were trying to make a 1:00 appointment when we checked in, so had to rush to drop our luggage and never got an offer of being shown around the hotel after we missed the original check in. The garden is lovely, but some of the sculpture seemed very odd and distracting from the garden itself. With a few changes, this could have been a favorite, but it ended up being our least favorite of our weeklong trip to Rome, Assisi, Venice and Florence.

Lack of room with a view of Venice, lack of breakfast included, rude man at checkin (the ladies were nice), photography going on in the lobby made us feel unwelcome to be there in the main building. Overall, just a lack of the welcoming high standard of service we received from every other hotel in Italy, which was surprising considering the price. We probably should have stayed elsewhere.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great lots of choices on the buffet and the hot choices were even more plentiful. We enjoyed the walking distance to Florence in town. The staff were prompt and helpful when my husband broke a tooth and had to get an emergency appointment with a dentist. The valet service took us to the dentist office and offered to pick us up afterwards, but we simply continued to walk around florence afterwards. Lots of walking, which is great to work off all the pasta, pizza and pasteries! Would love to go back and stay there again.

Internet in our room was spotty on Wi-Fi, but again, the staff came to the room and gave us a wire to hook up to the hardwire access so that we could continue to use the internet. Drinks at the bar were expensive - 15 euro, while down the street drinks at the cafe's were 6-9 euro.

Location eccezionale, con una stupenda vista su Firenze. Struttura molto curata. Personale gentilissimosec efficiente. Molte sono le iniziative: oltre all'aperotivo serale, abbiamo avuto la fortuna di soggiornare mentre la struttura ospitava una serie di opere d'arte lasciate in loco a seguito di una mostra tenutasi in marzo: si passeggiava nel parco immersi nell'arte con il panorama su tutta Firenze! Il Sabato e la Domenica, outlet di moda... Il tutto senza in alcun modo limitare l'attenzione al cliente! Bravi! Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!

Unico neo: posizione del ristorante sacrificata, rispetto alla posizione della villa.

Deuxième séjour dans un hôtel au calme proche du centre et facile d'accessibilité. Qualité générale des prestations. Chambre spacieuse et vue sur Florence inoubliable.
