Very good value for money
The place is amazing and we will return, views of the city are second to none
We didn't use the Restaurant as there were not many people staying there in November and it lacked any atomsphere
Staff and facilities
Restaurant for dinner was poor but breakfast was good
everything was perfect but
except the Bath
View, room, swimming pool. Walking distance to an incredible church that we normally would not have seen.
It is not in town. It is in a residential area so if you want to walk everywhere. Not the place to stay.
Views Ambiance Rooms Comfort Wonderful staff Free shuttle into Florence
Spa bath did not work. Too many gnats gathered by the pool edge and in hotel rooms - sounds silly but we were not alone in being eaten alive!
Views. Food. Especially service
The friendly, helpful staff, the lightning-fast room service, the idyllic swimming pool, the wonderful view, the calm, out-of-town location, the useful shuttle service to the centre - we think it might be our favourite hotel ever!
Worst thing I can say is the wi-fi is a bit slow.
Room and poolside. View is fantastic. Bathroom.
Staff were too aloof. Dinner was not relaxed. Staff seemed to concentrate on certain clients. Pool bar was not used. Breakfast - could have had eggs.
Nice cozy hotel in the good location. Great staff. Very convinient shuttle bus with very friendly drivers.
A little bit overpriced. Couldn't make the jacuzzi to work, problems with shower. Our room (303) was right at the driveway - too noisy and no option to keep the curtains up. With the price and staus of the hotel, the above things shouldn't be mentioned.
Felt like home from home. Beautiful hotel and an excellent location with first rate and friendly staff. I will definitely be back.
Absolutely superb classical villa location, facilities & standards of service. Laura & Massimo provided 5* personal service at all times. Exemplary hotel and well worth the price. We'll be back!!!
There are many mosquitos on this property. The pool area is infested. I couldn't wait to leave.
This is a stunning hotel and the views across Florence are incredible. It was better located than I expected and the walk into town really wasn't very far at all (albeit down a big hill). The pool is gorgeous and the breakfast was good. Having a coffee/drink/dinner overlooking the Duomo is very special.
The room we stayed in was quite small and the air con didn't work at all on the first night which made it quite uncomfortable. It is a gorgeous hotel, there's no doubt about that, but you do pay for it.
The hotel is in a great location, the views are spectacular and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. We felt the hotel was great value for money compared to the other hotels in Florence. We also really liked the way the maid left a card with different facts about Florence on our bed each time the room was cleaned. This was a lovely touch.
When we attended breakfast often the tables weren't set and the water hadn't been refilled. On the whole this was a very small point and the stay overall was brilliant. We would definitely go back again.
This was a stunning location overlooking florence.no children. Resturants food and wine list is excellent.they surprised me with a beautiful birthday cake.Courtesy shuttle..was very convenient.
Nothing comes to mind. Althought I do think guests should be informed if a weddinggoing to be held ,during your stay. Just a note in everyone's Room ,would have been nice and respectful
The view from our room was spectacular, and all the staff were kind and understanding.
Loved the location. Reception (Laura) was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. I felt very well looked after.
The room was a little smaller than I expected for a 5 star hotel, perhaps because I was in the annex. I rather wished the pool was heated as it was too cold to get in to really.
Fabulous Italian hospitality with a sense of humour. We enjoyed our one night at the hotel immensely. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Shuttle bus is really efficient, and very flexible, the driver came into Florence to collect us at an unscheduled time when we could not get a taxi. Fabulous view of Florence. Typical hotel breakfast with usual meats, cheeses, pastries, yoghurt and cakes, but all very good quality. Cakes deliciously moist!
Valentina and Laura assistance and rather good mood of the staff itself. As well as a genious cat in the garden-)
Location is not commode to see all the attractive places the city offers you. The hotel was rated as a 5 star one with no reason at all- If I ever mind to I'd never gave it even 2 stars. The interior is old, the technology is poor, the breakfast is a nightmare, cause they even do not propose any hot meal except tea or coffee.
Staff very obliging Location amazing Breakfast lovely
Breakfast not on front terrace
The whole place , the location , the view ,the staff
The bath very difficult to shower
very elegant context, high level service, warmly recommended
The hotel was extremely well located in terms of the scenic views it offered and also the close proximity to the city and the centres of interest. All the staff were very professional, extremely efficient and well mannered. The rooms were most comfortable and clean but it would have been good if there had been a facility to prepare ones tea/coffee.
The staff was wonderful! They were always interested in making sure we were enjoying our time in Florence. Breakfast was superb! Views from the hotel were unbelievable, having coffee with the panorama of Florence in the background was memorable! Loved every minute and plan to return!
