“Excellent location overlooking Florence old part of town. Located on a hill with a beautiful pool. Very helpfull concierge service by suggesting some great dinning experience in Florence. Swimming pool and its surroundings - it made us enjoy the trip even better as it was extremelly hot and so gave us the opportunity to hide away from the heat.”

Villa La Vedetta is een neoklassiek gebouw, dicht bij de oevers van de rivier de Arno. Dit hotel ligt op een wandeling van 15 minuten vanaf de Ponte Vecchio. In de tuin zijn onder andere een hot tub, een buitenzwembad en een terras met uitzicht op Florence aanwezig. In de kamers vindt u een mooie combinatie van antiek meubilair met een eigentijdse inrichting. De kamers beschikken over een televisie met satellietkanalen, een stereo-installatie met een cd-speler en gratis internet. De grote marmeren badkamers zijn voorzien van een spabad. The location was wonderful and the pool, although not heated was inviting. The staff was not consistent with information and for the most part pleasant but not very helpful.

Fantastic view over Florence and the staff was very helpful to help us sort out museum tickets during a busy weekend! Hotel is nice and deserve it's classification. The restaurant inside room is bit of a cave... Would be nicer to serve diner in the veranda on the main terasse!...

A lovely location near to Michaelangelo Plazza, free parking. We were travelling all around Italy and this was the one place we did not get a view! Very disappointing--after a week of other hotels exceeding our expectations. The man at the check-in desk was rude and immediately turned us off. It seemed strange that free breakfast was not included as it was everywhere else we went. We were trying to make a 1:00 appointment when we checked in, so had to rush to drop our luggage and never got an offer of being shown around the hotel after we missed the original check in. The garden is lovely, but some of the sculpture seemed very odd and distracting from the garden itself. With a few changes, this could have been a favorite, but it ended up being our least favorite of our weeklong trip to Rome, Assisi, Venice and Florence. Lack of room with a view of Venice, lack of breakfast included, rude man at checkin (the ladies were nice), photography going on in the lobby made us feel unwelcome to be there in the main building. Overall, just a lack of the welcoming high standard of service we received from every other hotel in Italy, which was surprising considering the price. We probably should have stayed elsewhere.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great lots of choices on the buffet and the hot choices were even more plentiful. We enjoyed the walking distance to Florence in town. The staff were prompt and helpful when my husband broke a tooth and had to get an emergency appointment with a dentist. The valet service took us to the dentist office and offered to pick us up afterwards, but we simply continued to walk around florence afterwards. Lots of walking, which is great to work off all the pasta, pizza and pasteries! Would love to go back and stay there again. Internet in our room was spotty on Wi-Fi, but again, the staff came to the room and gave us a wire to hook up to the hardwire access so that we could continue to use the internet. Drinks at the bar were expensive - 15 euro, while down the street drinks at the cafe's were 6-9 euro.

Location eccezionale, con una stupenda vista su Firenze. Struttura molto curata. Personale gentilissimosec efficiente. Molte sono le iniziative: oltre all'aperotivo serale, abbiamo avuto la fortuna di soggiornare mentre la struttura ospitava una serie di opere d'arte lasciate in loco a seguito di una mostra tenutasi in marzo: si passeggiava nel parco immersi nell'arte con il panorama su tutta Firenze! Il Sabato e la Domenica, outlet di moda... Il tutto senza in alcun modo limitare l'attenzione al cliente! Bravi! Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo! Unico neo: posizione del ristorante sacrificata, rispetto alla posizione della villa.

A great location above the city of Florence. The tranquility and ambience of the Villa makes it an outstanding stay for any well-heeled traveller prepared to pay a little extra for the privelage this establishment offers. I cannot think of one thing. It was really great.

It seemed as they had been hiding from the guests.

The staff tried very hard in trying to resolve our luggage problem (too much) in flying back to US. However, they were not very accurate, or else the language barrier got in the way. The room was small, but the bathroom was elegant. Very impressed with the stonework.

Very nice location. Not in the center but very close to it. Very good park. Very fresh air. Very good rest after sitysightsing. Pool on open air! No noise at night! Nice view on town from balcony and terrace. The breakfast excelent! Very good restorante.

hotellets lage var perfekt allt var valordnat och mycket bra vi trodde nog att restaurangen skulle vara battre och frukostenv vi var besvikna att de inte ingick i relais och chateau som framgick av dess beskrivning for vi gillar verkligen den kedjan det finns aldrig nagot daligt pa dess hotell

Herrliche Lage mit Aussicht auf Florenz. Freundliches Personal. Schöne und angenehm eingerichtetes Zimmer. Wunderbare Terasse mit Blick auf Florenz. Swimmingpool klein aber schön und der Liegebereich nett hergerichtet. Preis im oberen Bereich. Restaurant ohne Ausblick, obwohl es eine Terrasse geben würde. Zu wenig Ablageflächen und Kasten im Zimmer, obwohl das Zimmer hinreichend groß gewesen wäre.

Eh um lugar distante da agitação do centro da cidade e proporciona uma agradável vista paronamica de Florencia. Mesmo sabendo da distancia contávamos com o servico de transporte oferecido pelo hotel, porém no nosso segundo dia fomos surprendidos com a restrição apresentada pela atendente do hotel, limitando nosso retorno do centro da cidade para somente o final do dia, pararelo a este evente fomos surpreendidos quando chegamos ao hotel após as 15h, e nosso quarto havia sido arrumado, a mesma atendente nos disse q infelizmente o hotel estava cheio e nao tinha previsão sobre qdo seria limpo.

Le cadre est magnifique, une villa toscane surplombant Florence (à 15 minutes à pied du centre). Le personnel disponible, chaleureux. Nous avions réservés 6 chambres et une suite, agréables,confortables et pour certaines avec une très belle vue sur Florence ou les jardins. Petit bémol, l'une des chambres, facturée au même tarif, était plutôt petite, sombre et sans vue.

Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, das Zimmer mit dem Blick über Florenz war traumhaft. Parkplatz direkt beim Hotel. Der Shuttle-Service hat super geklappt. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.
