Hotel Villa Marsili

Todo el hotel: las instalaciones, las vistas impresionantes de nuestra habitación, el personal y que a media tarde obsequien a los clientes con un aperitivo.

Maravillosas vistas, personal muy agradable. Buen desayuno, habitaciones ámplias y cómodas.

Mala iluminación en el baño.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is polite, professional, smiling - in short everything you want a hotel staff to be. They also speak very good english, which is not guaranteed in Italian hotels, and they really make you feel at home at once.

We liked the receptionist's extreme enthusiasm about helping customers. I have never seen such an enthusiastic person in my life (really). Nevertheless, some people might find this behavior a bit extravaggant and unnatural. She never says "your welcome" after a "thank you", but she thanks you, too with and emphasize on "you"! :) Anyway, she was great to us, and it is quite obvious that employing these kind of people is a strict hotel policy in Villa Marsili. The other staff were great, too.

There were some noise from upstairs during the night. The rooms were spacious and having high ceilings, but the floors without wall to wall carpet might have caused the noise.

Wonderful aspect overlooking Lake Trasemeno. Staff courteous and very helpful. Execellent breakfast served in bright sunny room. Car parking available.

The staff were particularly attentive and helpful.The rooms were large and comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

Excellent location, breath taking views, very stylish and confortable rooms, fantastic service, Excellent and friendly staff. Very good value for money. Must stay there!

The hotel was beautiful. Views are fantastic, and staying in Cortona feels like the perfect Italian vacation. The staff there is perfection, the could not have been more kind or helpful.

I thought the hotel was very nice, and the staff extremely helpful. They went out of their way to be helpful and were pretty knowledgeable. The room had a lovely view, and was extremely clean and bright.

The bed was a bit too soft, and the breakfast was pretty standard. We stayed in hotels in Perugia, and other areas of Umbria and Tuscany which had as good or better accomodations, which charged between 100-120 Euros (we paid 200 Euros for our room at Villa Marili in the beginning of May). Thus I feel that your hotel is overpriced for what we got.

Driving directions are incorrect, and the hotel is very hard to find - up a steep hill, hard-to find parking.

Le personnel était serviable et agréable. La préposée parlait italien, anglais et comprenait le français et elle n'était pas avare de son temps. L'hôtel est bien situé, très près du centre de Cortona, à quelques minutes à pied. Les chambres sont bien décorées et le lit était confortable. Un gouter est servi en début de soirée, c'était sympathique.
