Location was good. Staff were very friendly.Breakfast was good. The entire villa was clean. We did not get the junior suite room that we had booked. I would not have booked this hotel had I known that only a normal double room would be allocated. The room was quite bare and although it had a small "terrace" there was no view at all.The room therefore was merely somewhere to sleep rather than spend any time. Any hotel room would have sufficed in these circumstances. Initially the person who showed us to the room insisted that we did have a junior suite ,and that caused some irritation (it was so obviously not !). It was not until the following morning that the manager admitted that a mistake had been made and that neither a junior suite nor any room with an ensuite with a bath ,as opposed to a shower , or a room with any sort of view, was available on any of the three nights we had booked. He did however offer to reduce the price of the room and buy a meal at a local restaurant (we paid for the wine) as a way of apology. I would rather have paid more for the room initally booked as the description of the room was a major factor in choosing where to stay . Co-incidentaly ,we met another family (of four) at a restaurant that had booked into The Oriana but on arriving were told that their room was not available and that they were to stay their first night at a local hotel. The staff were friendly ,that is admitted , and the whole place was clean and tidy but our stay was definitely spoiled by not getting what we had chosen and booked (although as I have already explained , the girl who showed us to our room pretented that we did have the junior suite!). As we were there for only three nights, leaving early the last morning, there was no point finding anywhere else. The owners are obviously proud of their villa and are more than pleasant with their guests, but in reality, The Oriana is a simple, very clean ,no frills place to stay in a rather ordinary modern building . |

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The location was wonderful - we planned all our car trip around Sorrento from the hotel - and the view was amazing. Lastly, the breakfasts were memorable, and served to make a wonderful vacation even more unforgettable. We planned before-hand to come by car, and travel Sorrento by car. If we were there by foot we would have probably felt a little stranded - It's quite a walk down hill to Sorrento, and the same walk back up again... |

Excellent views of the bay. Would have been nice if the roof jacuzzi was open later into the evening |

Very friendly people and a very beautiful property. An Espresso / Cappuccino machine for breakfast would be a great addition besides the Napolitan coffee. |

In booking a 'budget' room we did not realise that we would be not be staying in the hotel but in a shared apartment a short distance away. We agreed to pay a supplement to move to the hotel after the first night but in the event we stayed in the apartment as nobody else was booked in. It was very nice, but we would not have wanted to share. The breakfasts were spectacular, the best ever. It is located up a steep hill and is not really in Sorrento [much closer to St Agnello]. Whilst we liked the location I do not think this was sufficiently clear. |

Rota Suites was recently renovated and offers comfortable apartments suitable for 2 to 6 guests in the heart of Sorrento. |
At the end of Amalfi's seaside promenade, stands a 4-storey hotel, set in a bright, Mediterranean-style villa. This is not a fairytale, its simply your holiday at Marina Riviera. |
Built high up, overlooking the sea, the small and charming Belair is set in one of the most enchanting and suggestive scenarios of Sorrento, with a marvellous view. |
Hotel Aminta enjoys a dominant position overlooking the Gulf of Naples, just 3.5 km from the centre of Sorrento, to which it offers a courtesy bus service. |
