The Romantik Hotel Villa Pagoda was built at the beginning of the 19th century as a private house for a rich merchant from Genoa. At the time, the reason for the picturesque location directly on the coast was to brin ght valuable cargo from his ships from China directly into the house via the underground passageway. At the beginning of this century, when it was owned by the Swiss consul, magnificent parties for the aristocracy were held here. The present Romantik Hotel, surrounded by a centuries old park, captivates its guests by its typical furniture and valuable materials, the impressive Murano chandelier and floors made of antique Carrara marbel, transporting them to the splendours of bygone times. The very few rooms and deluxe suites are personalised to make the guests feel they are in a private Italian villa of the past. The fine cuisine of the Restaurant 'Il Roseto' cooks in Ligurian tradition. The restaurant is set in a spectacular atmoshpere during the summer, complete with piano entertainment every night. The sea is reachable through a private access directly from the Hotel property.
