Good to be out of town, peaceful ambience. Nice pool Friendly owner Supper Excellent accommodating shuttle service,
Breakfast a bit disorganised Beds uncomfortable Fridge in room didn't keep food or drinks cold.
The location was beautiful, a 10-minutes drive from the town of Sorrento, between the olive trees in the hills. The shuttle service was very useful and flexible (you will need it, it's too far to walk from the town) and the hosts made us feel very welcome. Also the animals (a young horse, some chicken and a cow or two) made it a nice place to stay. We had the most delicious dinner at Villa Pane one night, the best we've had in Italy (try to find out what's on the menu if you're planning to have dinner there. Some days it's more special then other days).
Know that there will be some mosquitos. Also, we didn't really liked the town of Sorrento. Lots of tourists over there. But Villa Pane is nice and quiet.
Helpful friendly staff
Initially no bath towels in room& on requesting, towels were damp & not changed following day. One jug&2 cups provided but no coffee, tea, milk only 1 sachet of sugar Beds very hard & pillows smelt of smoke
The staff, food, and facilities
they offer a fantastic 4-course dinner cooked solely with fresh products from their own premises for a very reasonable price, very quiet, great views, very nice breakfast
wifi did only work in the common area
All the staff were extremely helpful and kind. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and assisted us in taking our hire car back. Anna Maria was particularly friendly and made our cooking course fun. The location, although out of the centre of Sorrento, is beautiful and was a nice quiet place to relax. A free shuttle service made getting to the town easy.
The cooking course was more expensive than we anticipated p, especially when essentially we cooked dinner for ourselves and other guests one evening, yet still had to pay extra for our meal on top of the price of the cooking course so just be aware for a potentially larger bill than expected when you leave. Also be prepared to drive up or down a very steep and narrow hill!
We stayed at the agrituriamk two nights and that made the difference of our stay at the crowded SORRENTO !! Yes! It was full of tourist everywhere, and we didn't expect that ... So being so isolated in this agriturismo was the best... We were not extremely satisfied by the breakfast though ... It s not a big deal... But I think it s a point that should be reconsidered, taking into account the price of the rooms.
Location, friendliness, Gianluigi's driving ability, flowers in the garden.
Staying here was a unique experience, situated in the hills overlooking Sorrento it feels like you are getting the best of both the amazing scenery and countryside whilst still being only a short distance from the town and port. Walking into town was easy (if you don't mind steep descents) and the shuttle service was great. Only difficulty we had was finding the meeting point on our arrival day - still can't find it marked on the map so - Via Fuorimura - under a bridge just before Hotel Savoia. Had dinner here on two of our three nights and were blown away by the food - amazing local produce and the value for money is spot on. Would definitely stay here again. Such welcoming staff only happy to go out of their way and help you.
Be aware of Mosquitos. There is a little farm on the hotel's garden; but it doesnt work for agroturism. Hard to find the way to hotel; poor shuttle service.
the shuttle service was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the location away from the busy Sorrento centre.
Great service, comfortable accommodation and the freshest food from the farm. Nice to be in the beautiful hills and be away from the crowds.
Wonderful staff. Very knowledgable about sites and train and bus schedules. Shuttle service to Sorrento provided freely as needed. Breakfast was an excellent array of pastries, meats, cheese. Dinner is available and is wonderful and quite a bargain.
Distance from town.
