The Ausonia & Hungaria is in a building featuring modern or Art Nouveau decor and a façade with majolica tiles. It is 270 yards from the beach and a 5-minute walk from the Vaporetto water bus stop.
Score from 363 reviews Very good
Surrounded by peaceful gardens, Villa Mabapa is an Art-Nouveau building with a quiet location on Venice-Lido. It is 330 yards from the Lido San Nicolò water-bus stop for Venice's historic quarter.

Hotel Villa Laguna is set in a historic villa in Lido, right on the lagoon, with enchanting views of St. Mark’s Square. The nearest vaporetto (water bus) stop is 55 yards away.

Location was good as close to beach, town centre and water bus terminal.
Hotel rooms were a bit shabby in places. Cleaning of rooms perfunctory and seemed rushed. We didn't feel the format of hotel was welcoming. Not one tv channel available in English and the rooms were expensive for what we got.
We book the hotel that afternoon, staff was amazing in helping us with a late checking. Place is nice and comfortable. Highly recommend. Thank you for a great stay.
Quiet hotel with personalized service. Excellent breakfast. Clean rooms with good air conditioning. Close to the vaporetto stop, main boulevard, and many restaurants, yet it is located in a quiet neighborhood.
Good spacious rooms for family.
Quiet location close to Venice and the beach Breakfast buffet Great staf
Beds and pillows not soft enough
The retreat fro m the city at the end of the day was lovely.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect as it was close to the water bus but not on the main road. The garden was a lovely added bonus!
I would have preferred to have some more English speaking TV channels and a guide to tell you which channel number these could be found on. The daily supplement breakfast was very expensive versus other hotels in Italy.
I thought breakfast of €12 pp was expensive , cheaper to go to local cafe
Good location. Modern. Clean. Helpful friendly staff.
The friendly staff who were so helpful. Good location with easy access to the water buses and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Beautiful restaurants within walking distance.
Location was the perfect hub to get to anywhere in the Venice area from the Lido.
The hotel was good value-for-money in comparison to other hotels at the same price on the Lido. It's on a quiet street on the Lido, but the vaporetto stop is less than a 5 minute walk away and takes you straight to Venice, the airport and the surrounding islands for a day trip. There is a good supermarket on the same street and lots of reasonably-priced restaurants a few minutes walk away, which was great for keeping food costs down. The hotel itself was clean, with a modern but friendly design, and our room had good air conditioning, fairly strong Wifi signal and a strong shower. It was a delight to come back to after a long day out. We opted for the €12 breakfast, which suited us fine (cakes, juice, breads, hams, cheese, pastries, cereals, hard-boiled eggs). It might not be worth it for some people as there wasn't a hot, cooked option, but for us it was worth it to have a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Staff were friendly, helpful and caring. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if returning to Venice.
Air-con was broken one night but the staff were very apologetic and allowed us to take water from the mini-bar for free to help make up for it.
All the staff in reception are very nice and helpful ! Very convenient place, nice and quiet area. Definitely will stay again when visit Venice - fully recommended !
Lovely location, nice to get away from the hustle & bustle of Venice but close enough to be convenient. Hotel situated in a quiet road. Very friendly staff and spotlessy clean. Dinner at Favourita restaurant is a must.
Modern & clean Very friendly and helpful staff Quiet location
Limited choice of breakfast Had to ask for the A/C to be turned on
Good location and pretty clean facilities. Pretty nice sized room for the price. The front desk was very accommodating whenever we needed help. Good spot if you want to stay away from the crowds in the actual city of venice. Close to the water bus station so you are only a ride away from the San Marco stop.
It was a little noisy. The footfalls of other guests could be heard from time to time. The wi-fi was fairly weak and there were some points where I had to move to the other room to pick up a signal.
Perfect for a relaxing stay away from the crowds in touristy Venice but a short vaporetto ride from all the action. Clean, comfortable, tranquil decor. Staff is extremely helpful, speak English and provide good guidance to travelers. Having stayed in several much more expensive hotels in Venice, I would pick Villa Pannonia again over those for the delightful location and staff. We were in Lido in mid-April when the weather was most comfortable and the summer crowds were absent.
Friendly and helpful reception
Aged room is not comfort at all coz you can hit your head several times a day. there is a very loud conversation between a guest and the management at 3rd floor in early morning of the 22th in non professional way at all.
Very cosy small hotel in a quite area.
Extremely complicated password for WIFI that you have to enter any time you want to go online
Very nice and Good Renovated hotel, the Staff was very friendly and Rooms were comfortable and clean...Breakfast was also very good with Variety of different Things...
Roms could be a Bit bigger
Just arrived home from a wonderful stay in Venice lido staying at the hotel villa Pannonia. The location of the hotel was excellent tucked away just off the main street and only a short walk from the water bus station. The hotel staff were friendly and approachable and even made a recommendation for a nice restaurant on our arrival and phoned ahead to make the reservation. Would 100% book again for this location and for value for money it was superb.
The staff were friendly and helpful-language was not a problem. Room was clean and comfortable with fridge to keep your drinks in. Pretty small garden you could sit out in. Location few minutes walk from vaporetti stop so easy to get to the islands and Venice central. Recommend buying a 72 hour ticket for 35 euros for unlimited water bus travel. We certainly made full use of this facility. Had a very enjoyable stay and would return again.
Would have been useful to have tea or coffee making facilities in room suppose one could take a travel kettle! Breakfast is self service continental which was enough for me but my husband would have preferred cooked choices. Please note that breakfast is optional and costs 10 euros per person.
We stayed in Lido for a visit to Venice on the recommendation of Venetian friend of ours and were not dissappointed, it is quieter and cheaper to stay here, but only a 10 minute water bus ride from San Marco. The hotel could not have been better, the staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms clean comfortable and spacious. There are many restaurants nearby, or eat out in Venice, catch a water bus back and then buy an ice cream to keep you going on the short stroll back to the hotel. we would certainly stay here again.
Efficient staff and rooms that were both comfortable and quiet.
