This ancient hunting manor offers elegant accommodations in Pergo, a 10 minute drive from Cortona. The landscaped grounds include a terrace for open-air dining, a pool and panoramic countryside views. This family-run hotel still includes a number of the villa's original features and a selection of antique furniture. The best view can be admired from the reading room on the second floor. Rooms at Piazzano are air conditioned and feature free Wi-Fi, Sky satellite TV and a minibar. Wi-Fi is also available in all public areas, including the terrace. L'Antica Casina di Caccia restaurant has a local food philosophy: it uses only the freshest local ingredients, and specializes in Tuscan cuisine and homemade pasta. Meals are served out on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool. In Pergo di Cortona on the border of Tuscany and Umbria, the villa offers free parking and is a 15-minute drive from Lake Trasimeno. The setting was absolutely beautiful, the breakfast was extremely good, and the service was outstanding! I highly recommend this lodging, especially for couples who are looking for a romantic getaway.

A lovely hotel in a peaceful setting near to Cortona but far from the maddening crowds! The family has done a grand job at renovating an older villa - pictures to document their work are available. We had a large room on the top floor with the nicest bathroom fittings of the trip! The grounds, patio and pool area were delightful in the hot September weather. It would be a great place to do some cycling/hikes too. We enjoyed drinks in the bar and had wonderful conversations with the family owners before/during evening meal....English is spoken by most staff and they are friendly and helpful. Our room was a little dark but nice and cool on a hot day....we understand that it is difficult to change the windows in historic projects plus we do not stay in the room that much.

This incredible luxury villa is chock full of charm, history, and excellent location for visiting Umbria. The gourmet dinners and unbelievably scrumptious buffet breakfast were added temptations to this otherwise lovely venue. We were welcomed by the owner and treated to a tour complete with an added room upgrade. We will definitely return to this oasis!

Villa di Piazzano is an excellent hotel, with very friendly, nice staff and a great cook! The rooms are so intimate and romantic and everything is very clean. The location of the villa is absolutely beautiful and it has a lovely garden! Me and my husband highly recommend Villa di Piazzano! Excellent!

The Villa di Piazzano was a very gracious hotel. The staff we very professional and extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was very spacious with a lovely view over the pool and surrounding countryside. Breakfast was included and was beautifully presented with a wide choice. Dinner was a gourmet experience.

Harika bir doğa, çok güzel tasarlanmış odalar, mükemmel bir mutfak. Cortona'nın hemen yakınında nefis bir butik otel. Hiç sıkılmadan günlerce kalabilirsiniz. Montepulciano ve çevresine günlük geziler için de çok uygun bir konumda. Restoranı son derece başarılı, yemekler harika.

a quelques km de Cortone voilà un endroit idéal pour prendre du plaisir et se détendre. Tout est beau: les paysages tout autour de la villa l'interieur lui même remarquablement agencé et décoré. chambres spacieuses certes pas données (200 € mais c'est tellement agréable!!!!)

Del entorno la tranquilidad A la habitación la falta confort, el aire acondicionado suena muchisimo. El extractor del baño hace mucho ruido y se encendia al dar la luz.Absolutamente imprescindible disponer de coche.

Lieux tres Charmant avec piscine a la limite de la Toscane. Idéal pour visiter Cortona et Arrezzo. Je conseille le détour ! Attention néanmoins : se renseigner avant si un groupe/famille nombreuses est présents dans l Hotel, cela peut rapidement vous gâcher la quiétude de votre séjour car les propriétaires ne semblent pas savoir les gérer et vous n êtes pas a l abri de gens mal élevés.

Mi ha colpito il silenzio e lo scenario naturale. Personale molto cortese. Ottima colazione. L'arredamento è veramente "della nonna": un eccessivo utilizzo del legno e del colore marrone, così come di tessuti (per divani, letti, tende) dai colori "antichi". Io credo che anche in strutture storiche e ben conservate come questa si debba mixare l'arredamento antico con il moderno.
